In Short – With classes ranging from 24 Hour Tease, a sexy strip aerobic class, to the more subdued Vinyasa flow yoga and butt-kickin' boot camp, this active sports club is packed with health conscious (and some insomniac) gym goers. Stocked with the latest cardio and weight-training equipment, this gym cranks up the pumping music, flicks on the Plasma TV sets, and lets fitness fanatics work out according to their own schedule. With affordable rates and a friendly, knowledgeable staff, personal training is another tangible get-fit option. And while the moniker is somewhat misleading, on…
Lied to by sales staff

I was thinking about joining and spent a day at the gym with free 7 day pass. In the showers there were only two curtains so people in stalls have no privacy and stood there waiting for the water to get warm before taking a cold shower and I mean cold. Floors look dirty and the shower curtains and walls have mold and look unclean. Then I commented saying, wow that's cold! and one of the ladies said, "it's always like this". I said, "it never gets warm?" She said "no" and there were four other women standing around and they all just smiled and nodded. I was called by sales for me to become a member and I told her that I had to take a cold shower. She said, "the hot water went out for an hour that day". I said "someone told me it was always like that". Then she said "during peak hours the water goes cold". It was very slow that day with maybe 10% of the cardio machines filled so not peak hours, very crowded in the weight room though. I said, please tell me more about the cold showers. And then the sales girl suddenly started saying "hello? hello?" and hung up on me! She called a few minutes later and maintained that usually there is hot water. I just felt like she was trying to con me. I would have gotten a membership here but after that ordeal I realize it's kind of dirty. No membership for me!
- Pros: lots of equipment and pool
- Cons: cold showers and dirty equipment
Decent Gym

I recently moved, and switched to this 24hour fitness. I prefer my old 24 hour fitness, but this one does the job. My old gym had more of a community feel - this one is much more impersonal and commercial feeling.
Equipment-wise - there is lots to choose from. I don't typically visit during 'peak' hours, so I haven't had any problems with waiting for cardio or weight machines
Cleanliness - this branch could use improvement. The trash cans are often full to overflowing, and sometimes the sanitizer seems to be missing. I hopped on the treadmill yesterday, and there was dried sweat all over it. On the hunt for the sanitizer to clean it, I discovered the towels were out. Also, the weight area is often unruly, and I have to hunt for plates or dumbbells. I only use the locker room to stash my bag or change quickly into my swimsuit, so I can't really comment on the showers or anything. It seems fairly clean.
I dig the pool. I love to swim, and I like that it doesn't close early or anything. I'm usually able to get a lane, and if not right away, one opens up pretty quickly.
The parking is not ideal, that's for sure. If I'm planning going during peak hours, I catch a bus. Late at night, it's not such a problem to find street parking. But still, having a small dedicated lot for parking would rock.
I have not used the personal trainers here, or had much interaction with the desk people. My goal is to get in, do my workout, and get home again, and not spend too much time analyzing my surroundings.
- Pros: pool, open 24/7, decent amount of equipment
- Cons: parking, machine layout seems random
yuck

I have been a member of 24 hour fitness for over 3 years and have been to 6 different locations and this...by far...is the worst. The showers are filthy and the curtains are moldy. 3/4 of the showers in the ladies room do not have curtains. I have been several times and am disappointed. I'll be canceling my membership. This is probably the cheapest you'll find a fitness club for and there is a lot of equipment.
- Pros: cheap
- Cons: dirty
