Cristy Carner as an hair stylist and Anjanette as a colorist - I am so happy to have an easy and great looking short hair at all times. I like to work out early before i go to work and don't have time to style my hair - I love how my hair just falls into place after shower and looks great! I feel good and I also get compliments from other people! Yeah, I like to say I sweat really hard to make it look like this - oh well, not really, I just have to spend once a month 35 min for the haircut and about an hour for highlights/full foil every 3 months!

Best color ever! If you are looking for that "perfect" blonde call Cristy Carner Salon and ask for Anjanette. She has an absolute GIFT when it comes to getting it right (whether you want it totally believable or platinum). I've been going to her for 7 years and will never go anywhere else. Amazing!

Best Colorist in Seattle!. I have been going to the Cristy Carner salon since I moved from Boston five years ago. By far it is the best salon experience I have ever had. I love my colorist, Sydney. She takes care to match my color and highlights with my personality, lifestyle, and coloring. My thrifty husband even comments when I come home from the salon and thinks that it's worth every penny! I love how Sydney gives me ideas about what look will work for me. For instance, I was perfectly content to stay with my short, spunky look. She encouraged me to try and grow it long for a while, and I have never looked back. I also love her easy going style. Very easy to talk to.

The salon atmosphere is hip, interesting without the cold exterior of other salons in this same price range. It's a gem nestled between Fremont and Ballard. Check it out!

Best Hair Cut and Best Massage. I received a massage certificate for a birthday present at Cristy Carner salon. I've been skeptical of massages as I've yet to have one that i thought was worth the money. I saw Joanne and it was hands down the best massage I've ever had. She spent an hour massaging ever part of my body, front and back. I had recently twisted my ankle while running and she intuitively found my pain and paid special attention to it. I inquired how much she costs, thinking it would be a lot, and I was surprised to find her rates incredibly affordable, more affordable than any other place I've ever been too! I recommend booking her for 1 1/2 massage, incredible price and worth it!

My second experience at Cristy Carner was a hair cut with Kirk Slaughter. I had heard great feedback from clients, as I live in the Fremont area and those around seem to all seek him out. He gave the best head massage (hair wash) I've ever had, it took my headache away. Not many stylists have recommended the best stuff for my texture in the past, and Kirk knew exactly what products would work for me. He listened to my issues and gave me a flattering hair cut with style.

The ladies at the front desk are always friendly,helpful and pleasant. And having a glass of vino while getting pampered is quite lovely.

This is IT!. Amy is the ABSOLUTE best brow shaper in the city of Seattle. She is very thorough with her design, asks enough questions without being pushy, and is always in a nice mood. Kirk does great hair, and is just fun in general. I spent an afternoon with a co-worker getting a manicure with Liz after a long work day. It was the best manicure I think I've ever experienced. Any service you partake in, I promise will be a great experience. It's nice to go to a salon, have a glass of wine, get an awesome haircut/manicure/wax and not feel rushed!

Bad Customer Service Experience. I had read a lot of great reviews and was excited to try the new salon for my color. I was disappointed within 2 minutes of walking through the door. I was not greeted at all. Finally someone told me to get a robe, I had no idea where the changing rooms were. Then I did not know where to go after changing - so I finally tracked down my stylist who was clearly having a bad day (it was still early morning). I immediately felt like I was putting HER out for coming in. I felt like her attitude was unecessary and unwarranted. When you go to a salon and spend a large chunk of money you want to feel comfortable and taken care of. Especially if you are a new customer. The service and attitude I received was very poor. The one saving grace was that my hair did turn out okay. If the service had been better I would return for sure. It was an extremely uncomfortable situation and unfortunately now I have to find another salon. I was tempted to go back and ask for a refund purely due to the service I received.

Best place to relax after a long day!. Great salon! Great girls! I just really love going here and seeing Anjanette and Kate! The front desk is also very helpful and friendly and I get the feeling that all the girls are friends which shows in the over all positive vibe of the salon. Its a gem!

Fantastic cut, no attitude. I agree with all the reviews here. A GREAT salon. Filled with natural light, a noticeable lack of attitude, and cuts at a reasonable price. I took a chance going from long hair to a short haircut with a new hairdresser, but Kirk understood what I wanted immediately and gave me a great cut for MY face. I've never gotten so many compliments on a haircut. I'll never go anywhere else. Highly recommended.

HOT MAMA!!!!!!!. I had my first vist to kirk at Cristy carner salon in Jan. I wanted to fix a very bad cut I got last year from a out of state salon, but I got a great new haircut that was right for my face shape. He spent alot of time teaching me easy ways to style at home. I went back in for a small trim and he made the haircut better!! thank you Kirk!

I love my Brows!. I recently went to Cristy Carner Salon to have my brows waxed and get a one hour massage. I'm usually nervous about how my brows will turn out but, Amy asked me a lot of questions about what I wanted before we even started. I was so glad, because at other places they just go to town without asking what I want. They turned out beautifully! Also, I have had many massages in the Seattle area, but none have compared to the on one I got from Joanne. She was kind, strong and attentinve to my problem areas. The rooms that I had my services in were both gorgeous and private. I'll definately be back!
