In Short
Large windows filter in sunlight, life-sized Liza Minnelli photos hang on exposed brick. A wide-ranging menu includes pint-sized options for kids and plenty of treats for both vegans and vegetarians. Share a cinnamon roll while you wait for breakfast. The open-faced turkey-sausage biscuit (with scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese) is to die for. Giant burgers share lunch- and dinner-menu space with fish and chips, pastas and grilled chicken.

Wow were we ever really shocked and insulted this evening at Julia's on Broadway. We had bought an auction item at a charity fund raiser. Tonight we went to use it. Getting onto their website to find out information was a no go no matter how many times I tried. Then we called to make reservations and to find out more. But the guy on the phone didn't want to be helpful either. But we went. I will not go back. And yet I have been to this place for lunch and breakfast many times. But not again. At least not the one on Broadway. We walked into this really loud music, thank god they had outdoor seating. We ate and tried to get even more information about our gift certificate. The waitress was very unfriendly and not real helpful. Then we tried to ask the guy in charge. But he was so insulting. We asked him a question and it was if we insulted him or something because he talked about how he doesn't get anything out of making that donation to the charity. And that he hoped we had paid more than it was worth. But that he himself didn't make any money off it. Well, I hate to break it to you man, but I believe my business donated more to the charity than you did. And I haven't been resentful about it. If you don't think it's worth it to you, don't do it. What did you get out of this? Well, we didn't stay and spend all the money you donated to the charity so it didn't cost you as much. But on the flip side, you've also lost a long term customer that has been going to your restaurant since you opened. And you got this review plus all the people I will tell about your rude comments and attitude. Here we were trying to have a good evening. You ruined it. The waitress came over later to ask us about the balance of our certificate. We told her we had just been spoken too poorly and we were not going to stay or return after such a bad night. Can I also add the food was bland, the gravy was good, but the rest was bad food really. I'm done with Julia's on Broadway.
Pros: outside seating
Cons: bad service

We ate here the other day and I thought it was ok. We ordered the Hawaiian Pizza and Fish & Chips to share. The pizza was thick and dry- hardly any sauce, not too good. The fish and chips were good. Decent service. I don't know if I'd go back.
Pros: Drinks
Cons: Nothing Exciting on the menu
