A great find at the center of the universe!. I love coming to habitude, knowing they are using natural and organic products, taking care of the environment and hiring personable, talented employees.

I've been coming to Habitude (both Ballard and Fremont) for years. mostly for haircuts, and a color now and then, but also have had an Ultimate Spa Pedicure and manicure, a massage and facial (one of the daily deals off Living Social) and really enjoyed every treatment I've had.

I recommend Ballard for the more spa-full experience, and Fremont for the basics. they are both great though!

Amazed by great service!!!. I received the pleasure of a facial at Habitude while on vacation in Seattle. As soon as I walked in the beautiful salon, I felt relaxed and at ease. My facialist was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. The treatment left my skin glowing and my spirit reenergized. Afterwards, I relaxed in the sauna and then showered using amazing Aveda products. The staff was very friendly and approachable, and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely book services again at Habitude the next time I visit.

Loved and amazed!. I started going to Habitude in 2002 for my hair, which despirately needed some help. Since then everytime I go through the door, there is always some cheerful face to greet me. I have never been disappointed in any of the stylists (& I've seen a few!), estos or massage therapists that I have been to. They are always wanting to make sure I am comfortable and happy. They offer drinks and time to relax away from my hectic world outside their door. I love the on-line specials and little specials they have each day. I love the fact that I am welcome to shop for gifts while just enjoying some tea. I love Aveda and I can get everything in one place! Relax and Enjoy!

100% trust in Stylist. Wanted a new look, I love being blonde not the best for my skin tone "(at the moment) I asked all the stylist what would they do if they had free range with my hair. Really good ideas from all, I still couldnt choose I finally decide to just let them do whatever they felt was going to compliment me. I saw Viola, she was fabulous, kept it a secret for me so I could be surprised with the end result. BEST SCALP MASSAGE EVER! The finishing was amazing, I have thick curly hair my hair looked so smooth and healthy when she was done. Viola did a full foil and all over color it , and compliments my skin and makes my eyes pop! All the stylist were excited and involved on the new change. I trusted whatever she decide was going to be good and it was.

Used to be OK, not anymore. I used to go to this salon (both Ballard and Fremont locations) for hair services in the past. It used to be ok. However, there is more turnover there that at any salon I’ve been to. Recently I’ve noticed a serious decline in the appearance of the staff and quality of service. When I go to a professional salon to pay to have my hair done, I’d like my stylist look like a stylist. I’m not talking crazy trendy clothes and tattoos or anything, I just mean somewhat stylish and put together. And good hair!! This place has gotten so sloppy. Add to that everything I’ve heard and read about the ownership (could that be related to the turnover problem?) and I think I’ll pass. You’re much better off going somewhere else. This place is a joke.

Go see Dru!. Dru is a hair god is all I have to say. You won't be disappointed! I have been going to see Dru to get my hair cut for 2 years now and I trust him completely. He says "what do you want?" and I say "your the expert just make me look pretty!" I won?t let anyone else touch my hair!

great experience. I visited the Habitude Salon in Fremont for the first time last week and couldn't have been happier with my experience. The young lady that made my appointment over the phone was very polite and accommodating with my difficult work schedule. I saw Jenny for my cut and not only did I get a GREAT haircut, but she obviously loves what she does and was an absolute joy to talk to! When I raved about her as I was checking out, the receptionist informed me that Jenny is new to that salon and already has quite a fan club. I can see why! I will be back!

Transformation is often bumpy.... For several weeks, we at Habitude have been watching the postings here. It seems time for me to respond to some of you and share our story. In November as part of our strategy we chose to make a change in our commission structure so that we could continue to provide incredible benefits to our salon team. As a result of this and some of our other strategic shifts in leadership we have had several of our employees choose to move on and we wish each of them the best. After 15 years in the industry I have learned that even though it stings when they leave the nest, they often go on to grow an amazing amount and look back fondly at their experience at Habitude. It is always rocky when we lose people that have been a part of our Habitude family. But our mission and values and love for our staff and our clients is unwavering in the management team and the large powerful team that is still with us. As well as with the new staff that continue to train and become a part of the Habitude tribe. We are excited about what feels like a new fresh beginning as we continue live out our mission, to love and amaze our guests and each other.

great cut. Vanessa did my cut. She is a newer stylist (so the price was reasonable) and was awesome. I recommend going and seeing her. It was worth the experience. The facility is nice as well. I love the location. So much to do there.
