In Short – Set on 2 1/2 acres between the zoo and Woodland Park, the Seattle rose garden is home to more than 280 varieties and 5,000 individual plants. Most beautiful at the beginning of summer when the roses are in full bloom, the garden is nevertheless a nice spot for a picnic or romantic rendezvous any time of the year, thanks to its two fountains, reflecting pool, art deco sculptures and picture-perfect grass pathways.
