Wonderful Chiropractor

I have had severe back pain for upward of 2 years now. I have been seen by a regular practitioner and in the last 8 months, I have been seen by a Neurologist. The diagnosis I have been given has been Fibromyalgia and I have been put on a series of medication. Everything from pain medication to medication to help with the Fibromyalgia. Yet, the one consistant problem that hasn't been fixed is my back. Finally, after 2 years of being on pain killers and 8 months of going to see doctors and having no results, a good friend recommended Dr. Myer. I called him up and figured that within a few days I would receive a call and then hopefully within the next week I would be able to see Dr. Myer. Imagine my surprise when within the hour I got a call from Dr. Myer and was able to see him to 2 days later.

I had to bring in my daughter, Bryce, with me to my appointment. Megan, Dr. Myer's receptionist is not only friendly but, she is wondeful with children. She is knowledgable and great to work with. She sent me all the information I needed through an e-mail days before to make sure everything would go smoothly.

My first appointment with Dr. Myer was his getting to know me and what was going on with me and my body before he worked on me. He listened as I told him the events that had been going on for the last 2 years, the pain that was going on in my back and how even though I had been seeing my regular Doctor and a Neurologist, nothing was working for me. I also informed him that I had seen a regular Chiropractor in California and that I was new to Washington. Then, Dr. Myer did a full assessment of me, excluding getting x-rays. I felt completely at ease with Dr. Myer and the plan for treatment that he has set up for me. The best part is that what he has set up for me has worked and I have been able to go to my Neurologist and my regular Doctor and tell them that the pain in my back has improved and I have only been seeing Dr. Myer for about two months. Something that their drugs and the months of going to see them couldn't do. I wake up feeling better than I have in the last two years. I am more productive than I have been in the last two years. It is a wonderful feeling.

And, if that isn't enough, recently, my 10 year old daughter was having some neck pain and I brought her to see Dr. Myer. Dr. Myer went through the whole routine with her that he did with me. Assessing her and explaining to her everything that he does as a Chiropractic doctor and what he would be doing to her when he adjusted her. It was nice to see the interaction that Dr. Myer had with my 10 year old daughter because Dr. Myer truly has a gift. Not only as a Chiropractic doctor but with how he communicates with his patients. He is calm, informative, direct and able to explain things in a way that my 10 year is able to understand him and when it was me, in a way that I was able to understand him.

Dr. Myer cares about his patients and wants the best for them. This is comforting because when I went to him, I was wanting to be in far less pain and wanted to be able to spend more quality time with my family. The care that Dr. Myer has given me has afforded me that and I am very grateful to him. I highly recommend Dr. Myer.

Excellent, Dedicated Chiropractor

I had never been to a chiropractor before I started getting adjustments by Dr. Myers. Granted, I did not have any major issues---some lower back pain when I slept and rare tension headaches. However, I definitely noticed an improvement after getting adjusted. It helped my occasional headaches and back pain during sleeping. I even realized how tight my upper back was after sitting, working, or reading for long periods of time---something that I had never even noticed before, and the adjustments helped that as well.

Dr. Myers is definitely dedicated to patient wellness and goes above and beyond to work with the patient and the patient's specific treatment plan. I would definitely recommend Dr. Myers and his office to anyone that needs chiropractic treatment or is looking for a solution to neck, back, or joint pain.

Educated, Compassionate Chiropractor

Doctor Jim is not your ordinary stuffy practitioner. He?s concerned, focused, and engaged to your total state of health, not just performing a chiropractic adjustment. He?s down to earth, effective, and easy to talk to.

I have worked on and off with Jim for over two years. He?s provided a lot of education about self help, along with remedying the aches and strains that go with my sixty plus overweight frame. To that end, he?s compassionately helpful in terms of diet, exercise, and preparation for the physical activity and sports I still like to do. I feel a sense of accountability is present, and that?s good.

Anyone who?s looking for more than a ?feelgood fix? would benefit from a relationship with Dr. Jim.

Best Hands in Redmond

With a skeptic attitude, I was advised to go to a chiropractor. To my delightful surprise, I have had a tremendous experience. I have been suffering from dizziness and the doctor told me upright and didn't feed me any line of miracle cures or anything like that. He just worked hard on my neck and shoulders and it has been 4 weeks and I have had no dizzy spells since. So this is one critic that has a new and high respect for chiropractors.

Myers Chiropractic

I'm a dancer and have been having trouble with my pain in my ankles, treatment with Dr. Myers has allowed me to continue pointe work without pain and with increased flexibility. He worked with me to understand my needs and problems, as well as to set a treatment plan that was temporary and phased out visits as soon as my ankles started to recover. He is realistic with his goals for adjustments and makes sure to ask you to come in only when it is necessary. I always feel safe having him do adjustments and never worry that the body work will be harmful. Dr. Myers and his staff are also friendly and helpful. My appointments are convenient and fast so I can fit them easily into my demanding schedule. Overall, my experience with Myers Chiropractic has been wonderful and I would suggest him to any of my friends!
