Sweet Deals, Sweet People

I live just 2 mins away from Plaza Garcia and when I come by, I get a table pretty fast! I love coming into PG and feeling comfortable and like a family member to the waiters and cooks. It's got amazing chicken fajitas. The marinade that surrounds the chicken and the veggies in the fajitas is like having a party in my mouth. On occasion, there will be a harp singer and if you come to Plaza Garcia on your birthday, all the employees will come around your table and sing an authentic Mexican birthday song and put a sombrero on your head and take a picture of you! This is a great place for family dining, a birthday, or if some friends come out of town and you want to treat them to a nice meal. A definite must to any Mexican food aficionado!
- Pros: Tasty Food, Service, Nice Employees
- Cons: limited parking

The staff is super friendly and nice.
The food is awesome
I LOVE IT.....best Mexican food in Seatte. Believe me (I know I'm Mexican). :0)
The Chile Colorado is delicious and reminiscent of my grandmother's famous sauce. The salsa and chips are great too.
In fact I'm thinking of catering from them for my very own wedding.
- Pros: Best Mexican Food in Town that I'm afraid to mention it....
- Cons: The Parking but at the end of the day it doesn't matter.

Unbelievable family restaurant! The food is excellent and the restaurant very clean. All the employees ? servers, dishwashers & cooks will acknowledge you by name and treat you like family. All go out of their way to make your dinning experience memorable. The owner ? David his wife Rocio, will take the time to talk to you. I have eaten at Plaza Garcia just about every week for the past 8 years. I have never been disappointed. These people know how to run a restaurant!
- Pros: Fantastic service, great food.
- Cons: Parking
Only place to get chicken mole
by fizzbin at Citysearch
this place came it existence sometime late in the last millenia and from the first time I ate there is was the best mexican food I have ever had. I have eaten at others of course, but none have maintained the same quality and taste time after time. I used to eat at Las Margaritas when the first started out on Rose Hill, but as they grew, they lost track of what they had been serving. Carlos O'Briens had a great burrito, but they went out of business years ago.
This restaurant has a family recipe for mole sauce that puts to shame the mole that I have had at other restaurants. Their sauce may not be the traditional one you get at others, but as far as I am concerned it is the best.
David, the owner, is great as well as the rest of his family and the staff. Always a pleasant experience.
- Pros: great food and service; friendly people; reasonable prices
- Cons: not a lot of parking; can handle a group but only one at a time
Only Mexican Food I Would Eat
by ginnyginvampire at Citysearch
I moved to the Seattle area not too long ago and could not find any mexican food that satisfied me. I come from cities that have some of the best mexican and yet after visiting this resteraunt I found the best I've ever eatten. I have not had any bad food at their resteraunt before. This is the only good mexican resteraunt I've found in Seattle.
My favorite dishes are their fajitas, their carne asada and their beans.
The staff is also extremely friendly and know my family whenever we enter.
Highly Recomend!
- Pros: Service, Food, Family Friendly
- Cons: Few parking spots
