Fresh, fragrant, impressive flavors. We have been visiting Pasteur's for several years now, and it was one of the first Vietnamese restaurants we tried. We've been to many others now, and Pasteur's is still one of our favorites. I happen to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine more than any other because of the depth of flavor and the fragrance. It is very cozy food, especially the pho on a cold day. It will always make you feel good (or better)! A favorite of ours at Pasteur's (in addition to the noodle soup), is their green papaya salad. It is especially nice and comes served in a little boat dish. The fresh spring rolls are also very tasty, and the vermicelli bowls are also full of flavor. If you're looking for something new to try, and you're tired of the same old" indigestion inducing" heavy steak and potato meal, why not try Vietnamese- I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised; and Pasteur's is a good place to start. Don't forget to add the fresh basil and sprouts, lime, and maybe even some of the jalapeno to your pho beef noodle soup- you won't be disappointed...
