Horrible

Unfortunately I am stuck with this clinic, as they are only 2 within a 30 mile radius that accept my insurance coverage.

I agree - the doctor is older and is having difficulty practicing. He cannot hear half of what you say, and then misunderstands it - and then gets irritable with YOU. Last week he asked me what medications I was currently taking, went out of the room, came back, and gave me three prescriptions for the exact same thing I already take and didn't need or ask for. I also asked to be checked for a sinus infection, and he never once looked in my nose - and I was told to take ibuprofen. The entire visit was a waste of time, on top of him being practically senile on top of it. Half the time he prescribes me stuff that's been available over the counter for 10 years, or that they don't even make anymore, and confuses the heck out of my pharmacist.

They used to have a PA there that was excellent, but unfortunately she's gone. They also do not do flu shots anymore, and Betty complains about the cost of everything.

I have never seen such a unhealthy medical clinic in my life

I was in the Clearview clinic about two weeks ago, I have never been in a unhealthy clinic as this one, I had to get a blood draw and no one there knows how , they had a MA that was good but I heard that the owner had let her go, that was a mistake she was very good at her job and very professional unlike the one's that are still there. The doctor is so old that he takes for ever to get into see the patients, and Betty is really getting old too, it takes her about 6 times to get blood and she keeps using the same needle over and over again to stick you with. The only thing good about this clinic is Jennifer Fritz-Millard she is a great medical provider, that would be the only reason that I would ever go back their.

never been treated so badly in my life

I have been going to this clinic on and off. Besides today the last time I was there was about 2 years ago. I told myself the last time I was there I would never go back. My last visit I waited 1.5 hrs before I even got to see the doc. I was there for a follow up on my broken back and symptoms of a uti. When the finally came to speak to me he started of telling me a personal story of himself. Before we could even get into my problems his wife the clinic nurse came in the room and very rudely told me my time was up. She then told her husband the doc to just give me my pills and get me out of there.

When I mentioned my possible bladder infection she told me to stop drinking water at night. Didn't test me or anything. I left the clinic in tears. Five days later I went to the er only to find out I had a major kidney infection.

Well today I chose to give them one more chance. I was suffering from debilitating menstrual cramps and could no longer bare the pain. I had taken any and all over the counter pain relievers you can think of. Tried heating pad walking ect....I made a a ppt for 4 pm at around 5:15 pm I finally got to see the doc. After explaining to him I had a future appointment date to see a gyno he argued with me for about thirty minutes on how I need to see a gyno. Then with not doing any kind of test told me I have a infection a prescribed me some antibiotics. I asked him if he could give me anything for my cramps and he told me no it won't help my so called infection. I began to cry know not only was I in pain but imbarresed. I gold I will not take antibiotics for a infection that I do not have!!!

Never will I go there.the doc is nearly 90 years old and I believe it's time he retired.

Jennifer Fritz-Milllard is the best health care provder around. She is new to the clinic. She listens, ask questions, really cares.

Want a good Doc.....call her!!!!

Years Later...

I have a bone to pick with this clinic. When I was about 10 years old my school reported to my mother that it appeared I had a slight case of scoliosis. We went to the Clearview Clinic for an x-ray/exam, and the old "doctor" that worked there (doubt he's still working) had the audacity to suggest to my mother that I was "perhaps laying sideways during the x-ray". Basically suggesting that since he couldn't immediately see the curve in my spine-- and I don't know how you could miss it-- that nothing was actually wrong with me. (Why anyone would accuse a little girl of this, I have no clue). Being a kid, I didn't know anything about second opinions was afraid of being falsely accused and humiliated again, so I told my mom maybe we should just drop it.

It has been almost 20 years (Yes, I'm still angry) and my back has become worse every single year. I am almost 30 now and fearing I'm going to need some type of surgery by the time I'm forty to deal with the swelling of the muscle on one side of my slightly curved spine.

I just had to get that off my chest (back). I'm sure the place is fine now.
