Bamboo floor warranty issues.... I bought a brand new house where Bamboo Hardwoods installed the bamboo floor. I contact them in September for some warranty work (exposed nails, glue, a few cracked boards). Even now in April, they still did not come back with a response, so I gave up. Very hard to communicate with via e-mail and took a lot to get a replies to my e-mails (I guess because of warranty questions..). I cc the owner who did not even bother to reply or check if the issue was resolved. I stopped by their Seattle locations a few times and the employees were not helpful at all. I like the bamboo floor but I would not recommend Bamboo hardwoods to anyone.

Good products, disappointing service and installation.. Products are great and the quality is good, but service and installation are abysmal. Our floors took 4 months to get installed, and the lack of knowledge from the salesperson and installers caused us to drive down to the warehouse or store (and transport hundreds of pounds of bamboo in our small Civic) no less than five times because we were given incorrect or insufficient quantities of parts. Very rare to have calls returned, and installers were habitually late (including once when we waited two weeks after being told, "we'll come back tomorrow"). After paying over $12,000 and living with unfinished floors for months, one would think they would at least adjust prices or give us some form of compensation. They wouldn't budge.

great ideas for my entire home!. I went into Bamboo Hardwoods Roosevelt, looking to browse for some new flooring for my place. I found that this store was far more than flooring- rugs, screens, pots and fountains, fencing, furniture- the store really has a little bit of everything! Staff was helpful and not pushy- they let me browse and were friendly- not "in your face" like at other boutique shops.

After a few visits, I wound up purchasing a floor that looks terrific! The entire process was simple and professionally managed; I am VERY pleased with both the product and the service. I also got some rugs to complement my new floors.

I definitely recommend this place- the staff know their stuff and are committed to "green" home products!

Friendly staff. The woman running the shop that day I was in was very friendly and helpful. I liked that she let me browse without hovering or breathing down my neck. I bought some bamboo products there for a fair price.
