In the past, I have used the nail salon at Northgate, but the smell of chemicals and constant chattering (in a foreign language) make it uncomfortable. So, I decided to find a smaller shop with the same price level and a nicer environment. The male nail technician speak english well and there are two hairstylist who seem pleasant. I am planning a return trip in the near future.
- Pros: Free Parking, Professional, Fluent English skills
- Cons: Strip Mall, Lake City Way

Golden Nails recently changed ownership, so I was a little wary to try it out. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and they did a great job on my nails, repairing a job that was done extremely poorly by another nail salon. My nails now look great! I would definitely recommend making an appointment if you want to have a service done on a Saturday - they were having to turn walk-ins away because they were so busy.
- Pros: Great job w/ nails, No sales pressure, Has parking lot
