Singha-ppy for the Thai
by CuisineEditor
Golden Sigha (Seattle): A beautiful hole-in-the-wall Thai shack. Average Thai tea. Excellent Thom Kai Gai. Above average Pad Thai. Tofu unnecessarily extra fried. Average pineapple curry with prawns. Fast service. All
Thai staff?even the cooks who know how to make their guests singha.?The Cuisine Editor? The poets have been mysteriously silent on the subject of cheese. ~G.K. Chesterton
Wonderful Tom Ka and Good Phad thai
by SusanfromSeattle
I judge a Thai restaurant on two things Tom Ka and Phad thai both of which are very good at the Golden Singha, As a Belltown dweller I try to frequent neighborhood restaurants and really enjoy myself whenever I head in to the Golden Singha. Service is prompt, not exactly friendly but prompt and the food is great. A combination which makes this restaurant a staple for me.
- Pros: Food and quick service
- Cons: parking
Wonderful, simple, well-prepared Thai
by shoregirl
Great food, great prices - everything was very fresh and well-seasoned. Our hostess/server was able to answer our questions beautifully. The best peanut sauce I have EVER had... try it with their terrific fresh spring rolls.
- Pros: Fresh food, Great prices
