My husband and I are owners of two dogs, Cooper (dasch.) and Thor (choc.lab). We moved to West Seattle about 8 mos. ago and have been with different vets prior to our experience with WSVH. To make a very long story short our Cooper had a very bad accident and we were not certain if he would survive. WSVH staff and Dr. Keast took personal interest in aiding Cooper in his recovery, and us in thorough and fair explanations from care to cost. As far as being expensive, we have found the rates to be very fair for the quality of care our family has received. THANK YOU WSVH for being so helpful and supportive.( I think I called 3-4 times a day and every call was taken and every question answered.)

We've had taken our pets - dogs & cats - to WVH since it opened. We've seen a number of vets and found them all to be very good. Dr. Keast & Dr. Waterhous have been providing chemo therapy for our dog. I've found them to be technically excellent and as caring and considerate as I would want. Results were excelelnt initially - our guy was given about a month to live 6 mos ago. Was tumour free until a few weeks ago. Looks like agnother go-round. One poster says they are expensive. There may be cheaper places - this one certainly has a big facility to support - but I don't find the costs to be out of line. They are accepting and respectful of alternative treatments - which we find often work very well with animal - though very conventional themselves.
Pros: Full serivce, highly competent, attentive to pet and owner
Cons: Could be a bit hipper to alterantive appraoches and nutrician. (they are respectful)
