Best Sushi in Bellevue. I love this place and usually eat there once a week when I am out doing erands. The sushi is always fresh and if you sit at the bar the chef will let you know what is particularly good that day.

Not a family friendly restaurant!. Visited this restaurant about a month ago with wife and 8 month old daughter dinner. When we arrived and seated in the back of the restaurant, right behind their service station. It was cramped and dark. We arrived early, the restaurant was nearly empty and only one other table eating. We asked to be seated in the front area and was told by owner that babies are loud and noisy!? On top of that, their high chair seat belts where too short to buckle a a month old. this is only restaurant I have been to in the seattle/bellevue area that had this problem! I would not waste my time with this restaurant if you are dinning in with a baby.

Best fish, service, and people for the money!. Every time I come here I'm greeted with a hug from the owner, a smile from the sushi chef, and something special not found on the menu from the kitchen. Wonderful Japanese favorites that I have yet to find elsewhere in Seattle, Tuna House never fails to deliver. Chef Manabu is hugely creative with whatever seafood I'm feeling like that day, tells me when the uni is good, and when they're hiding crab in the back. I will continue to make Tuna House an extension of my dining room for as long as they'll have me. =)

Great Rolls. Overall atmosphere is not that cozy, although prices are not that cheap. I loved they rolls, not too much rice, excellent fish, very creative. We also ordered tempura soup, and we did not care for it as much -- noodles in the soup were like rubber.

Good place. Comparing with other Japanese restaurant, it is good restaurants.

I had dinner several times, rarely I have had a bad experience.

Although the space is not so wide, the tables are set spaciously.

Service is good and food is good.

The finest sushi in the world! Probably.. This is one of the finest sushi places on the planet. The fish is always very fresh, and the presentation outstanding. Sushi chef Manabu is a genius - his fire toro is worth traveling a long way for. I live just outside London UK and this sushi bar is almost worth the trip on it's own.

I've been coming here for many years and each visit seems to be better than the last. Today (lunch), we started with a suhshi sampler (nigiri with albacore belly, toro, fire toro, king crab and a chunk of crab on it's own - wow. Then some very lightly seared maguro sashimi, an amaxing roll. To finish off a peice of toro and a piece of fire toro.

I have never had anything than a very good meal here, and usually better. Each time I think he'll never top last time, I seem to be proved wrong. I recommend asking Monabu to just do stuff, and ignore the menu. You'll be in for a treat!

Best Sashimi, Sushi, Ambience in Seattle. Since we moved over a year ago from L.A./O.C....we have not found a sushi chef as the ones we are use to in SoCal. Our favorite chef is Endo in the Orange County area. So it was difficult..but we went all over the Seattle area just to find one that can compare. At last...we found him...MANABU!!! Perfectionist, Fresh seafood, love the sashimi it just melts in your mouth. Toro is great when available. My husband enjoys the Volcano. I think I like just about everything on the list. We drive from Kent to dine here..and it is well worth it.

Best sushi restaurant on the East-side, the Seattle metropolitan area, and in Washington!. I've eaten sushi in Japan, all over the US and other countries and Tuna House is the absolute best that I've ever tried. The location/ambiance, is not top-tier compared to the more expensive restaurants -- that's not to say its bad, but it's just not the best choice for a first date. The food however simply cannot be beaten. Manabu is talented and friendly and his "Omakase" chef's-choice is never a disappointment. I typically eat here 2-3 times per week, mostly for lunch. Their lunch menu is outstanding value, and it therefore can get very busy around noon -- go after 1pm if you don't like to wait. Make sure to try the volcano roll, the tear-drop roll and the toro (when available).

who needs a menu?. Hiro and Manabu prepare sushi that is unequaled in the Seattle area. We are frequent guests and have never ever looked at the menu! The seafood is always the freshest and highest quality and the presentation is true art. This is definitely a sushi-lovers destination spot in Bellevue.
