Great Indian Food.
Wow, a place that has a dinner buffet... Standard fare, Tandori Chicken, Chicken Curry, Naan, Saag Paneer, Cabbage, Egg Plant, Navratan Korma, Different Dalls. All good. Although I must say I have never seen Beef Curry at an Indian Restaurant, but yes, it was on the Buffett. Also ordered Garlic Naan, wich was very good. Tried their mint chutney (very good), and Tamarind sauce (The Best I've ever had). This place also has Brazillian dancing on Saturday Nights very interesting Mix. Looked at the menu and it looked quite good and reasonable.

GREAT Indian food.
This place is the best Indian I've had in the Seattle area. The decore makes you feel as though you've just walked into a hotel buffet in Vegas, and in my opinion is a bit overdone, but the food is delicious and there is TONS of seating - the place is huge! Great lunch spot, but don't expect much in the way of service. Good value as well.

One of my top 2 favorite Indian Buffets.
This is one of my top 2 favorite Indian buffets - and only one I'm aware of on the eastside for dinner. I think Kanishka now eclipses it for lunch overall (sometimes depends on what each have), but I still like some dishes at the Savoy better - I think their chicken tandoor is the very little fat. To be very picky I will say they aren't quite as amazing as they were when they opened a few years ago (due to fewer dishes on the buffet - still alot, sometimes sauce dishes aren't thorougly hot when they first come out, and it seems like more salt and less spice than when they opened). One other small inconvenience is that it sometimes takes awhile to take care of the check because it's a big resturant. Still, the Savoy is very very good and rates a highly recommended.

This is gone.
It's due to re-open soon, maybe it already is, but obviously I'll pull my old review until I have a chance to check it out.

Bad Service.
The food was excellent, but we had the worst service we've ever had in any restaurant while we were here. The waitress on duty spent the entire time talking to a coworker a few tables over, and absolutely ignored our requests for more food and drink refills. From the other reviews, it sounds like the buffet is the way to go, and I'd have to agree - you do everything yourself! Hopefully they can at least manage our drinks.

Best Lunch Buffet.
I've tried almost every Indian lunch buffet in the Seattle area, and the Savoy has by far the largest selection of choices. They include spinach salad, soup, lamb, goat, several types of chicken, mango flan, carrot halvah, lamb biryani, and lots more. The buffet is 8.99, a bit higher than the 6.95 standard, but considering that you can choose from so much, and the food is quite good, makes the Savoy a very special value. The place is huge and frequented mostly by Indians and Pakistanis...a good sign.

desi certified.
Savoy has the most amazing variety of Indian cuisine. Their buffet features over 20 main course dishes that capture cuisine styles that span the Indian subcontinent. Appetizers and desserts are plentiful as well. You will not be disappointed.
