THE BEST Most Unique Wedding Catering!
by crimsonskys33 at Citysearch
Through some serendipity we thought about using them to cater our July 30th 2011 wedding, then didn’t, then ended up with them. And we are SOOOOO GLAD that we did!! They were perfect in every way, everything you could want. The food was so delicious and unique for a wedding, all our friends and family still rave about how much they loved the food and how great and unique it was.
They bring their food truck to your venue, cook it fresh there out of the way, set up the buffet, break it down, and leave you with meal sized leftovers! You can pick any item that they have on their menu and mix and match anything you want to have. We had the Spring Rolls, Phad Thai, and Swimming Rama. All our favorite Thai dishes and all excellent!
They were a delight to work with, very easy and accommodating. The Mother of the Bride (a VIP guest of course) has many food allergies, and it was so simple to work with them and get her a plate of the same food as everyone else was eating without the allergens included.
Most brides’ say they don’t get a chance to eat at their weddings at all, I made sure to get a heaping plate AND go back for seconds Would use them again for our wedding in a heartbeat, you can’t do better!

Use to love this place

I wasn't upset when they forgot my 3 tea's-yet charged me for it the first or second time. I got my tea this time but I asked for no ice.
I ordered 3 dishes no onions no mushrooms. only one dish had onions anyway. Yet all three of them were filled with onions and they all seemed to have very little chicken too. It was late and there was nothing my starving husband who is allergic to onions could eat. When I called to explain they not only told me I was a liar that I had not requested no onions but they didn't seem to care either way. I was a regular once a month customer - now I will never eat there again.
Thai food in a convenient location

Kaosamai, a quiet home of a delicatessen offering the best standards of Thai cuisine.
While I’ll admit Kaosamai is not the end all be all of Thai food restaurants, it has a number of features that lend itself as a good local restaurant. First, the seating, it’s well laid out to allow for good separation between tables (this means less noise and awkward looks at strangers). They have outdoor patio seating for those rare sunny days in Seattle. The menu is not as extensive as some Thai restaurants, which means less strain in agreeing on what to order. Wine by the bottle is cheap!
Their pineapple curry to be particularly delicious…that is, if you like the sweet stuff. Prices run about $7 for an appetizer and $10 for an entrée (good size portions).
- Pros: Excellent Prices, Outdoor Seating, Great Location
- Cons: Small Venue, Short Wine Menu
Authentic Thai food in Fremont
by Lavaland10 , Citysearch Contributor at Citysearch
This is the first place I ever had Thai food in Seattle a few years ago and I was hooked. Living in close proximity it's hard to control my saliva glands each time I pass this pink and purple jem in Fremont. Having spent some time in Thailand I find myself pretty critical to Thai restaurants in North America. This place hasn't let me down yet!
The ambiance is lacking a little, with a basic set up on the main floor of this 'house'. The prices are very affordable so it's easy to overlook the patio furniture you may be sitting at. That being said, Kaosamai has just started expansion renovations that should be completed by May 2010 and could possibly polish up the interior.
If you can't make it to Fremont to experience Kaosamai be on the look out for their lunch trucks @ 3 West Nickerson (just East of SPU) at the Shell mini mart and @1010 Valley Street at The Center for Wooden Boats.
- Pros: Authentic Thai
