Use to love this place. I wasn't upset when they forgot my 3 tea's-yet charged me for it the first or second time. I got my tea this time but I asked for no ice. I ordered 3 dishes no onions no mushrooms. only one dish had onions anyway. Yet all three of them were filled with onions and they all seemed to have very little chicken too. It was late and there was nothing my starving husband who is allergic to onions could eat. When I called to explain they not only told me I was a liar that I had not requested no onions but they didn't seem to care either way. I was a regular once a month customer - now I will never eat there again.…
Thai food in a convenient location.
Kaosamai, a quiet home of a delicatessen offering the best standards of Thai cuisine.
While I’ll admit Kaosamai is not the end all be all of Thai food restaurants, it has a number of features that lend itself as a good local restaurant. First, the seating, it’s well laid out to allow for good separation between tables (this means less noise and awkward looks at strangers). They have outdoor patio seating for those rare sunny days in Seattle. The menu is not as extensive as some Thai restaurants, which means less strain in agreeing on what to order. Wine by the bottle is cheap!
Their pineapple curry to be particularly delicious…that is, if you like the sweet stuff. Prices run about $7 for an appetizer and $10 for an entrée (good size portions).…
Authentic Thai food in Fremont.
This is the first place I ever had Thai food in Seattle a few years ago and I was hooked. Living in close proximity it's hard to control my saliva glands each time I pass this pink and purple jem in
Fremont. Having spent some time in Thailand I find myself pretty critical to Thai restaurants in North America. This place hasn't let me down yet!
The ambiance is lacking a little, with a basic set up on the main floor of this 'house'. The prices are very affordable so it's easy to overlook the patio furniture you may be sitting at. That being said, Kaosamai has just started expansion renovations that should be completed by May 2010 and could possibly polish up the interior.
If you can't make it to Fremont to experience Kaosamai be on the look out for their lunch trucks @ 3 West Nickerson (just East of SPU) at the Shell mini mart and @1010 Valley Street at The Center for Wooden Boats.…
