The art galery in the museum is a big disappointment. It has too little glass art, something that you would expect to be the forte of a glass museum. Instead they have a bunch of unrelated art (e. g. pictures). The hot shop is really the only thing worth the trip (but not the $10 fee). They (grundge-like dressed guys) take some time to make a vase, but the place is very interesting (the huge steel dome that you see from outside) and you get a good view of that they are doing. Also, their gift shop has some unique art, but it is all absurdely proced. You better shop somewhere else if you can resist the spending urge.

The museum was smaller than I expected. The Hot Shop was very cool and I was impressed by the exhibit. Vallien's work was unreal. I have never seen anything like it. The moving sculpture in the back of the room drew me in. I was also relieved to discover the museum wasn't a shrine to Chihuly. It has some of his work on the Glass Bridge but the museum doesn't revolve around his stuff.
