JE NE SAIS QUOI?. The bartender on the weekends makes a sizzling drink....the "je ne sais quoi?" Ask for it by name! It's got a sour and salty vibe...
Happy Hour is awesome!!!. Unbeatbale HH prices, after a full evening after arriving at 6pm with 2 appetizers and drinks I had a $30 tab, and that was leaving around 1am. The tater tots and spinach dip is yummy!!! Seriously though, don't go there cuz I don't want it to be crowded when I do :) It's a great place though, really....
For cheap happy hour, unbeatable. If you need to unwind afterwork, grab a cheap beer and something fried, great place to go. You have retirees, white collar, blue collar, and 21s all in attendance. The owner is a great guy, one or two bartenders can be lame, but generally good place to hang out for a couple hours on friday.
WEDNESDAY Hysteria.
$5 to get in on Wednesdays. Awesome dancing starts between, when I've been there, 9:30 and 10. There is pole dancing, belly dancing, etc. It's amazing what those girls can do. The drinks are great, the bar food is awesome and not expensive. Drinks can be taken outside to a small fenced area, however there is a new thing that you have to smoke outside of that area. But no one seems to mind. Good atmosphere and good people. Worth checking out, I think.
Cheers.
Simultaneously roomy and cozy, this downtown watering hole boasts a club friendly design..
The Scene
Noc Noc looks a bit like a hip, young urban-dweller's loft: couches and tables are scattered about underneath a high ceiling, with sparse, tasteful decor. The fabulous old-fashioned bar offers a fine selection of beverages, while a large television gets tuned to whatever strikes the crowd's fancy. Music starts after dark, turning Noc Noc into a popular spot for drinks, dancing and after-hours fun.
The Draw
Maybe it's the muted lighting, the jukebox, or the comfortable seating, but the place is downright homey. The proprietors of Noc Noc know better than to mess with a good thing, and a resolute happy hour starting at 5pm makes this a popular after-work hangout. Come evening time, stay clear of the door, as folks in open-minded dress codes pile in for action on the dance floor.
Always a Good Time. I started going to the NocNoc when they first opened their doors. I love the place. From 5pm until about 9 (happy hour), it feels like a nice, comfy local bar and the PBR pints and all well drinks and shots are only $1. Around 9 or 10 the Dj starts spinning and it feels like a club. The best of both worlds if you ask me. The staff is great (except one bartender, who is a bit rude). Jesus, Brad and Peter are awesome!! They even let me bring my furry best friend Roxy with me. You guys rock! I'm moving back to Seattle in February! Watch out!
Big Up Soiree!. I've been going to Noc Noc every 3rd Saturday for Soiree for quite some time now. It's the best club night for me because the music is just slammin! If ya'll don't know what UK Garage/2-Step is, then you better go check this night out. I love the cheap $2 redbull vodkas as well as the rest of the stiff drinks, but the music does it for me mostly.
RUDE!. The party "Soiree" was Da Bomb! The service was good till one of the bartenders asked us to move from the bar in order to "make room for his friends". Then at the end of the nite, while trying to finish my beer, this lil punk of a bar back screams at me to finish my drink, while the aforementioned bartender was pouring more for his friends. Sorry Tom, won't be visiting Soiree again... anytime soon at least.
