Not the best Ruth's. I have been a frequent and fond guest of Ruth?s Chris restaurants throughout the country for over 14 years. If you are a fan as well, plan to skip this one. The location is mediocre unless you like a view of The Cost Plus Stores' roof across the street. It is in a mall and took a while to find the actual entrance as it is not on the street. We had to cover many levels of the parking structure to find the entrance to the restaurant. No valet parking. The service staff attitude was - lets say - less than warm and welcoming, no manager to check in with us about our dinner as is standard practice at other locations, , had to ask for more water, drinks and bread, slow in arriving at the table even though the restaurant was practically empty on a Monday evening. Food was fair, served cold, hard bread, not the customary soft warm bread of other locations. Experience was very disappointing. I expected much more from a favorite restaurant in Bellevue, WA.

Sophisticated American chain serves up corn-fed USDA prime cuts and New Orleans-style appetizers and sides.. In Short
This offshoot of a popular New Orleans hangout for politicians features decor of dark woods and comfortable booths, with a separate bar scene. Choice cuts of custom-aged beef arrive in sizzling butter on 500-degree plates. The menu also offers chicken, pork and seafood entrees along with Creole appetizers like shrimp remoulade. Family-style sides include gargantuan onion rings, creamed spinach and various styles of potatoes. Traditional homemade desserts like cheesecake and bread pudding conclude the meal.

nice ambiance, good service, wonderful food!. we ate at a ruth's chris for the first time tonight and it was great!

we had their tropical iced tea, shrimp gramulaude, petite and ribeye steaks, garlic mashed potatoes, fresh broccoli and the chocolate sin cake for dessert. everything was faboulous, except the broccoli, which was only ok.

i was also very impressed that are server, Justin, was actually serving from the left and taking from the right...a service practice that falls by the way side all to often in nice restaurants - In my opinion. the ambiance was really nice as well. I'd definetly recommend it!

Ruth's at it's best.. Good service, upscale environment, great wine list. I've been to a few Ruthses, this one I liked better.

Best Steakhouse in Bellevue by Far!. My fiance and I (both in our early mid 20s) came here for the first time on our anniversary. We made reservations & upon arrival were seated promptly at a quiet table upstairs showered with pretty confetti. Our waiter was very friendly & knowledgeable & also helped us pick the perfect wine for our steak. For our appetizer we had caesar salads, which were much fresher & tastier than the caesar?s we had at Daniel?s. My salad at Daniel?s tasted dirty & lettuce was kind of mushy & old. I ordered the Filet medium-well & my fiance had the Ribeye. Our steaks arrived sizzling & every bite just as succulent as the first, deliciously juicy, melting in our mouths. Even though our waiter assured us the sides are quite large, we went ahead and ordered 3 anyway ? mashed & au gratin potatoes, & fresh broccoli. The sides were excellent. Potatoes moist, perfect flavor! Broccoli definitely fresh! For desert we shared a chocolate sin cake and boy was it DELICIOUS! Each bite ever so moist! The steaks we had at Daniel?s tasted nothing compared to here. I ordered the Filet medium-well at Daniel?s as well & was served a bland, medium-rare steak with red ooze, which made me sick later that night (since the evening we were at Daniel?s was also a special night for us, I was too embarrassed to have my steak sent back & ate it anyway ? huge mistake!). Potatoes at Daniel?s tasted old & very dry and broccoli was not fresh; our desert was also a huge disappointment! To top it off, the waiter at Daniel?s was rude, disrespectful and rushed us on our special night. RUTH?S BY FAR IS THE BETTER STEAKHOUSE!! Even for the price! We spent much less here than at Daniel?s. Daniel?s may have a ?view?, but the food and service at Ruth?s was EXTRAORDINARY. We were not rushed and were treated with respect. This was without doubt a dinner of exceptional food and quality service we will always remember. Great place to celebrate special occasions and will definitely visit Ruth?s again!

Happy Hour Disappointment. If you're planning on going to Ruth's Chris for their late night happy hour, think again. We showed up last night at 8:30 and inquired if the expected happy hour was to begin shortly. Much to our surprise the answer was "No." Seems they have discontinued the late night happy hour because "It's Christmas shopping season." Okay . . . it's not yet Halloween! This was only our first disappointment. All of the microbrews - both on tap and in the bottle - were gone. "I'm sorry, we're out of Mac & Jack's. Oh, we're out of that as well." Although our better judgment told us, "Go to Daniel's!" we stayed and ordered some grub. The first basket of fries we were given were lukewarm and had to be sent back. Our mini steak burgers were mediocre. Do yourself a favor: for atmostphere, service and price, spend your money at Daniel's across the street. With all of the competition amongst restaurants in downtown Bellevue now, you would think Ruth's Chris would want to compete. We will not be returning.

Wonderful and Tasty. My husband and I went here for the first time and we were really impressed. We chose to sit in the bar and we were seated immediately. Our server was very helpful and attentive. We shared the green bean almondine and of course we each had to have Steak. The fresh beans were delicious and the steak was excellent. This was a special night for us and the dinner made it even more memorable.

Save your money and go to Daniels!!!. My friend and I stopped in for a light dinner at their bar after an exciting day of shopping. We ordered the bacon wrapped filet bites and the seared ahi tuna along with drinks. The filet mignon bites were over-done and tasted as if they were pre cooked hours before. We took a couple of bites and couldnt finish the $12 appetizer. The ahi was more acceptable although very spicy. I forced myself to atleast finish that plate. Here's the most disappointing part of the experience...the waitress. She was extremely short and unattentive and made us feel very unwelcome. I was afraid to even ask for water. Needless to say next time i will cross the street and go to Daniels where the food and service is always excellent!

Happy Hour Review. I've never been here for the actual dining, but I've come for happy hour quite a few times and loved it! The happy hour food prices aren't stellar, but their 1/2 pound burger is an exception - for $2.95, you get a heifer of a burger! A thick, juicy 1/2 pound patty on perfectly toasted buns. Delicious! You can get fries for $1.95 which are tasty, but there aren't very much to go around. A friend that dined with me got the seared ahi tuna ($5ish range) which had a smoky flavor. It was tasty, but nothing to write home about. What I love to get with my burger is the happy hour bartender drinks - I prefer the $3 cosmo. Yummy drinks, and while they normally aren't too strong, I once received a cosmo there that left me tipsy after one drink! Varies on the bartender, I suppose. Other special happy hour drinks include a glass of wine or beer (don't know which ones as I've never ordered them personally) as well as margaritas all for $3 a pop. Anyways, go for the 1/2 burger!
