If there were a way to chart a record store's hip-quotient, this shop would come up sparkling: It has a focus on local Northwest music, loves vinyl and has been known to open at midnight to showcase Death Cab for Cutie's new album. Completing the equation is the friendly staff--even if you're clueless, they won't make you feel that way. Expect a crowd of genuine music fans with a fair share of hipsters thrown in.
