New owners are great!.
This place just re-opened with new owners, who are totally cool. One of them is from Philly, right near where I grew up in NJ so we hit it off right away. I just started training with Sean G and
he's a great trainer! I've trained with a lot of personal trainers over the years (mostly in NJ) and Sean's definitely one of my fav's. Great personality and his sense of humor is hilarious. Sean obviously knows what he's doing as far as training goes as well.
I'm going to try one of their classes too. Not sure whether I'll try the Boxing Fitness or MMA Fitness but I'll update when I do!
Great parking, too, which is a rarity for Ballard!…
RIPPED ME OFF FOR $247, NEVER SET FOOT IN THE BLDG.
I signed up my daughter for the "free" week but she was unable to attend. She is under 18 and before she could even "join," I would have had to sign a contract. Despite her never attending, me never
signing anything, I was still charged a monthly fee and have been unable to get my money back.
I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well as the Attorney General. There are a lot of "fitness" places. I recommend going elsewhere.…
Game Plan Fitness.
I was looking for a trainer and found one with Game Plan. The owner John Verd, set me up with trainer Slade O'Neill, who really seems to know what he's doing (at least my sweating body tells me he
does). If you are looking for one on one, with a personal trainer, you really should give the folks at Game Plan Fitness a call. They try to fit their schedules to what their clients need (within reason of course).
If you are not looking to work out in a crowd, or wait for machine or floor space, you'll want to give these folks a try.…
Editorial Review. Personal training studio in Ballard focused on small group sessions and one-on-one fitness programs.
