The Amazing Food at Buenos Aires Grill haunts my Dreams!. It's not often enough I dine at a restaurant in Seattle and seriously can't stop thinking about the food for weeks to come....Luckily, my first time dining at Buenos Aires Grill I had the Mar Del Plata Salad..ummm.....YUMMMM!!!!!! I seriously day dream about this salad! Enough that I've started inviting friends and colleagues to join me there regularly for dinner and happy hour too! The prime cuts of meat are seriously delicious, directly off their fiery grill and the Cool Cocktails (and a few of the bartenders) are pretty Smoking HOT!! ;) Saturday nights I've experienced the Tango Dancers, dancing their way throughout the restaurant...What a great bonus!!
Ah so much fun.. and dancing too. Tango dancing is amazing.. I don't know how they dance across a bar and get through the crowded restaurant.. but they do it with style... and the food is amazing.. your traditional cuisine of steak and a lovely wine list but try something you can't get everywhere.. the sweetbreads were divine!
Like being with Friends.
I love this place. The food is surprisingly good and the value exceptional.
The main thing that brings me back are the people - you will get an amazing dose of genuine hospitality at BAG.
Best steaks and service!. We've brought many guests here and the other day took a good friend visiting from Iowa where steaks are King. She commented that she hadn't tasted anything like the Filett she ordered anywhere! The veggies and desserts were fabulous and as usual the service was second to none. In fact, the restaurant manager Alberto was extremely helpful with our seating, menu suggestions and assuring that we had a most pleasant experience. In fact, Alberto alone is reason to come back. No rushing to get us out and with easy parking right across the street it's ideal for out of towners. We can't wait for our next visit.
worst Argentinian restaurant. It is truly no longer a place to go when you are feeling like a nice dinner anymore. I totally agree with the previous reviews stating that the Argentinian flare is long gone. I couldn't agree more. The food is not what it used to be and neither is staff. It is truly disappointing.
awful tango/outdated restaurant/ unfriendly staff. I have been to Buenos Aires Grille quite a few times over the years, but I will not go back again. When you go to an upscale steak house and pay at least $100.00 for a dinner for two, you expect outstanding service, and delicious food. I received neither the last two times we have visited. The entrees took forever to make it to our table and they weren't even busy. Our server was busy making conversation with the "street" people that walked into the restaurant then serving us essentials like, ummm water! We were not impressed at all.
unacceptable. This restaurant should be condemned. I had plans of throwing a party here on Valentines Day, and we ended up canceling for a few reasons. One, we came in just for a try out dinner, and was not impressed at all. Just the vibe of the restaurant, and the service is very rushed and unprofessional. Then, the food was not very appealing. To top it off, we came back during the daytime/late afternoon to talk to the staff about our concerns, and the restaurant was a mess. There were flies swarming over dirty dishes and when I looked down, there were two mice traps by the bar. Needless to say, we never booked our party.
don't waste your time. short and sweet: I used to be a fan of buenos aires grill back when they had the Argentinian owners, now ever since the asian owners took over this restaurant has gone down hill! The food quality is down the toilet and the service is atrocious. The Argentinian feel is gone, and now it looks more like Azteca mexican restaurant
Agreed with Laura and Max. After reading several reviews of Buenos Aires grill over the years I thought it was time to check it out. I always had a weird feeling about the place...(connected to Whiskey Bar the least of my worries). I read Laura and Max's review of BA and thought well it cant be that bad OH IT WAS. Its not that the food is bad its just the people were very unfriendly and the restaurant was boring due to the characters they had present. As a long time resident in Belltown I could not have been more embarrassed for the good people who worked there. Unfortunately we were dealt a shitty hand. Simply put for steak...go to Queen City Grill, El Gaucho or Daniels Broiler...Buenos Aires Grill is a piece that will eventually get kicked.
OVERPRICED AND DISAPPOINTING. I have heard of the great dancing that comes along with buenos aires grill, and have heard some mixed things about the restaurant. We came on a very busy night, and did not have a good time. We were very rushed by our server. Everyone seemed to be running around like crazy, but didn't look like much was getting done. Our server did a horrible job, and seemed to forget about us most of the night. Our food took over an hour and I wasn't empressed. Will not be back, that is for sure
