Not so 'haven' like. I had a horrible experience with Doggy Haven and I will never bring my pup there again. I brought my 2 year old boxer for a weekend. I was told he would be in a 'suite' with heated floors and a raised bed and would have a bath before I picked him up. when i can to pick him up I heard someone yelling at the dogs while I waited in the lobby. When he came out it was clear that not only had he had a bath, but his entire underside was shaved! I would have accepted this as a miscommunication if it weren't for the fact that the attendant snarled at me when I asked about it. Told me he wasn't shaved and rolled her eyes at me when I persisted. Seriously, she was staring me down and glaring at me. She brought the groomer out who said that my dog probably 'molted' due to the heat as 'dogs do that'. At further inspection we saw some scratched on him that could have been from play but his elbows were very red and irritated. Much like you see after a dog has slept on concrete for a couple days. I'm telling you folks, there is NO WAY that this dog was not shaved. Not a chance.

Only the best for my dogs. Doggy Haven offers the friendliest and most caring staff for daycare as well as

for boarding. For more than two years, my two dogs have been playing there on a

regular basis during daycare and have been boarded on several occasions. They

love to spend time there and I can enjoy my travels knowing that they are in the

best of hands.

I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else.. I have a 4 yr old Golden who loves to play with other dogs, but also needs her 'quiet time'. The Doggy Haven staff are very attentive to her needs and when she is 'done', they take her in her room to relax and wind down. I know by how excited she is when she gets there (and sometimes even her reluctance to go home when I come to pick her up) that she is well cared for and loved. I wouldn't take her anywhere else. I do wish they had more rooms as sometimes getting in on short notice is difficult.

Fun, Safe, Reliable --- your dog will LOVE it!!. The place is a blessing!!! I have a young Havanese and she has lots of energy. When she hears the gravel on the driveway to the daycare she starts bouncing around the car because she knows that means she gets to go play with her buddies and get lots of love and attention from the staff. I use Doggy Haven for both daycare and boarding. For boarding each room has a small bed and a window. You can have a TV and a VCR of your family playing for your pet. There are no cages. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to romp and play, along with toys. They are responsible in checking to make sure all dogs are up to date on shots and on some sort of flea pill.

For daycare there is just nothing that beats it. The only confirmation I need is to see my dog scratching at the door to get in because she is soooooo excited to be there.

I am a very protective mom of my dogs and I can recommend this business whole heartedly.
