Editorial Review for Roxy's Diner – by Anna Roth
In Short
The bright psychedelic wall murals are oh so Fremont, but the heart of this neighborhood diner remains firmly on the East Coast. True to form, the menu offers more choices than a mortal could ever work through--though the item of choice is the thick sandwich made with juicy, house-cured pastrami on rye. Other favorites include blintzes, muffuletta sandwiches and Reuben spring rolls, made with pastrami, sauerkraut and Swiss with a Russian dressing dip.

The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. The pastrami was the best I have had outside of New York!
Pros: Everything was fantastic
Cons: A little run down

It's tender, fresh tasting (if that's possible for a cured fish), and on top of an 'everything bagel' it's heavenly. If you don't fixate on having the same thing every time (like I do), there is a wide and deep selection of other good stuff too (or so my husband says - I am all about the salmon).
Pros: Love the Lox
Cons: nothing worth mentioning
