The Scene – This smartly casual Canadian chain expanding south of the border offers swank leather menus, a backlit bar, leather chairs, big banquette booths and a money-shot view of Lake Union and Queen Anne. Suits with expense accounts take over at lunch; at night, it's a combo of a guys-night-out crowd mixed with young professionals enjoying the scenery. Servers are gorgeous as a rule, and can rattle off the menu by heart. – – The Food – The restaurant's inventive neo-American fare is better than it lets on. Playful ahi tuna tacos pack wonton "taco shells" with Asian…
Worst dining experience EVER

I will NEVER be back to this restaurant again. I came in with a date on Sunday night for a quiet dinner. The restaurant was moderately full; the bar still was fairly full due to an earlier football game that was over for at least an hour. Sat by the deck window, and there were 2 large parties of 8+ opposite who were VERY LOUD, yelling, hi-fiving, etc. Mangement did NOTHING to calm them down. Other patrons who came in at the same time were also upset. The food was good when we finally got it, but server FORGOT my side dish and I did not receive it until almost end of meal. Then a group of football hooligans who were in the bar decided to go outside to the deck (which had been closed; they should not have been allowed out there), and proceeded to sit at the outside bar and make lewd gestures AT ME while I was eating! One of them then THREW ICE at the window to get my attention; I just got right up and found the manager and told her what just happened; she basically did NOTHING to these jerks and made some comment about "Well, it's game night!", like there was nothing she could do about these drunken asses! Last time I checked, the Seahawk game was OVER, and Joey's is NOT a sports bar, filled with drunken frat boys who think they can get away with obnoxious behavior! I spent $100 on dinner and was treated so badly it's not funny. Manager tried to appease me as I left by offering a gift certificate - I declined, and she proceeded to CHASE AFTER ME as I left the restaurant! I am just appalled by this whole situation and will also be calling management. DO NOT EAT HERE.
- Pros: The food was at least good
- Cons: Poor service, BAD management
Extraordinary Food, Great Service, & TOTALLY HOT Waitresses!
by Kirkland Resident
We often go to the Lake Union Joeys (Bellevue location too) with my wife, children and friends. The food is always outstanding with a great and fun selection. The view is amazing and the service has never been anything other than awesome. The staff is always extremely friendly too.
I have got to say though . . . the waitresses are BEYOND SMOKING HOT! Holy cow!!! How can Joey's find so many totally gorgeous girls? Not only are they absolutely beautiful but they they wear short skirts, killer dresses, high heels, etc. It's hard to keep your eyes on the table.
Please visit if you haven't already. You will not be disappointed.

Been to joeys 5-6 times and the food is always perfect. This last time the server was just too busy or ???
Nice guy whenever he finally made it to our table, but just wasn't the best.
