Best fresh bread!. They have the best fresh baked bread!!!!!!!! The pumpernickel is the best I've ever had. The specialty flavors - Gorgonzola/Pecan, Cinnamon Crunch, WOW! And free slices.
This Great Harvest can't compare -- the Everett franchise has them beat by at least 200%!. Realizing that all Great Harvest locations are operated by independent franchisees who follow recipes provided by the parent company, the bread should be the same from store to store. Differences, therefore, revolve around customer service attitudes, and store operations. A few examples: Everett Great Harvest provides nutrition and content labels in every bag of bread; Redmond says they can't provide nutrition labels because their ingredients differ. Everett Great Harvest can and will slice most of their breads (with the exception of tea breads, which are packaged with foil liners); Redmond store refuses to slice any bread which has a round or oval shape, or any bread with special ingredients! Everett Great Harvest welcomes their customers with offerings of a choice of free slices as soon as you enter; Redmond store doesn't offer free slices except as an afterthought, when you've made your selection and purchase. Everett Great Harvest offers a "double-stamp" day for their bread card, which varies from month-to-month, and is announced in their newsletter. Redmond store doesn't offer any double-stamp day whatsoever. Everett Great Harvest readily offers registration forms to enter their monthly "gift bread basket" drawing; Redmond store has no apparent drawing whatsoever. So if you have a choice, travel a bit north up 405 to the Great Harvest in Everett -- you'll be glad you did!
I love Apple Crunch Bread!.
I was surprised to see how big their breads are. My friend recommended this place and those are all hand neaded, artisanal breads. Depends on the day, they make different breads. I highly recommend Apple Crunch bread which they make on Tue. and Thurs.
Try once and you will love it! I would definitely try other breads! They will serve you a huge slice of bread to taste. ;-) There is no seat so you can eat in.
