Worst Wings Ever for the $. After spending our winters in Mesa, Az and dining at the Native New Yorker where the most delicious wings ever eaten are 50 cents each and 35 cents on Tuesday and Thursday with a $3.95 salad that fills a good size plate, we tried Wingdome in Kirkland. The wings are horrible with about 1 tablespoon of meat on each wing. The prices are also horrible ($5.99 for five of these pathetic wings). The $3.00 salad would hardly fill a coffee cup. We won't be back there again and really miss our Native New Yorker wings.
Good food. 5-alarm burger was excellent, and actually fairly spicy (most "5-alarm burgers" don't seem to be). 7-alarm wings are mighty hot. Can't speak to any food safety issues that other people mention on here, except to say that I didn't get sick. Service was good. Thumbs up.
Theifs. This was one of the worst experiences of my life! Seeing as though I have been to the Wingdome in Kent I assumed this one would be just as good....boy was I WRONG. I ordered my food and waited for almost 25 min for it to arrive, it wasn't even like the place was packed. I guess the servers had better things to talk about at the bar. Shortly after leaving the restaurant I realized I had left my car keys on the table (not in a food tray but on the table) when I got back to get me keys, it turns out the buss boy had thrown away my keys so I had to go out back and dig through the smelly trash where I found my key chain covered in ranch dressing...after going to the bathroom and washing them off I realized non of my keys were on the key chain any longer...each key had been single handedly removed from the metal ring...wierd.....the workers were no help and kept tight liped about the whole thing....did I forget to mention I didn't leave a tip? I guess they think its fair to cost me a couple hundred dollars for a towing bill and a new set of car keys....BEWARE THIEFS WORK HERE
Sub-Par.
Of the things we ordered, the hot wings were pretty good, but the BBQ ones were abysmal, and the garlic cheese bread wasn't very good either.
However, good wings or not, at a price of nearly a dollar per wing, their prices are just way too high. Service was below average too and the place was pretty poorly maintained.
Not great.. My boyfriend and I visited this place about a month ago. I wouldn't recommend it to any friends, and we won't go back. The food isn?t great and it?s extremely overpriced. Honestly, after visiting this restaurant I tried purchasing pre-cooked wings at Costco (you just heat them at home) and they were actually very good. Even though it?s not as convenient, I would highly recommend that route instead!
Kent Wing Dome not recommended.
I was not too surprised upon arrival at the atmosphere or the poor beer selection, since it's a wing place. However, what really disappointed me was the slowness and rudeness of the servers and management. There were only a few other customers when we arrived. We waited forever to get our food and the waitress flipped out when we needed a refill on our pitcher of beer. She was very rude and blamed us for her having to wait on 25 people (which must have included staff). When we got our checks, we discovered both parties at our table were over charged. We brought it to the waitress' attention. She admitted she must have charged both of the bills wrong, took the checks, and brought back new ones. When she brought back the 'corrected' charges, one party was charged the exact same amount as the previous check and our new check was overcharged $12.00 ontop of what they overcharged us on the first check.!! They did not provide an itemized list of charges, and when this was requested from the waitress and manager, they were very rude, told us they would not give us any information about the order, and could not correct the charges. We left immediately and will never return. Felt like they just stole from us.
Also some health concerns as we witnessed the manager emptying garbage and then delivering food items without washing his hands.
The most popular wings in Seattle, and the crowds to prove it..
In Short
For many local poultry eaters, The Wing Dome, affectionately dubbed "The Dome," is a favorite. Start with a basket of 25 hot wings, measured in spiciness by their "alarm" ratings. The one-alarm is the least spicy, the five-alarm is the most. The menu offers a range of specialty wings, along with sandwiches and burgers. Celery stalks and your choice of spicy ranch or blue cheese dressing come with the baskets o' wings.
Cuisine Limousine will provide WingDome Again. Great Appetizer Platters were brought to our meeting. We asked the CUISLIMO meal planning team to bring us Restaurant items that where great light finger items. They delivered us WingDome. (Not just Wings all kinds of items *Even Vegetable)
wow!!!. if you like hot wings this is the place to go,you can get special flavors or really hot flavors.the 7 is the hottest but the best
won't go back. I heard of this place called the wingdome so I thought why not try it. First impression terrible from the start. I had to wait 5 min for a menu. I finally ordered about 20 min later my wings came out cold. Not only that I ordered a salad that came out after my wings that had the wrong dressing. For only 2 other tables in there I expect it to come out right. The place was dirty the bathrooms had flies, the cooks and servers were hanging out at the bar ignoring the customers. 1/27/03
