Video Factory Seattle. Been going here for years, off and on, and these folks do everything right.
Good video store. They have a better selection of foreign films and foreign TV programs than the cookie cutter chain store. Might not be as good as prolific yet as "Scare Crow", but for a neighborhood store, it's a cut above the usual competition.
Your friendly neighborhood video store. In this day of digital downloads, franchise stores and mail order video rentals, this place is a wonderful throwback to simpler times. I try, whenever possible, to frequent local businesses and Video Factory is your quintessential neighborhood establishment. The friendly, knowledgeable staff are always willing to help you find what you are looking for or make a suggestion, and never baulk at holding a movie or giving availability information over the phone. These guys really know their movies and like to share their love of the cinema with their customers. The prices here are more than reasonable, especially on Tuesdays when they rent new releases for $1.47 and all other titles for 99 cents each! As a movie buff though, the thing I appreciate the most is the selection. They have every genre of film one could want - classics, documentaries, foreign films, as well as the new releases. They also have (according to my pre-teen son) a great selection of video games for every type of console. Frankly my dears - of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world you’ll be glad you walked into this one. It will be the beginning of a beautiful friendship!
Terrific Video Store. Great selection - ecclectic and interesting. Genuinely terrific staff who are always helpful. And best of all, it's not a gargantuan franchise.
