Great View, Great Staff, Flavorful Food
by Mikesonia at Citysearch
We went in twice, one on a Date night and once with some good friends, Its a bit of a drive but well worth it!
I had Seafood Fett. and my husband had a Scampi Prawn dish and they were Fabulous, so much flavor and rich taste. Our service was friendly and answered all our questions with great knowledge and she directed us towards our selection. The Front desk greeted us with young vivarant smiles and the Manager Thanked us for coming in and invited us back, you can bet we will be back to try many more delicious dishes sooner than later.
Incredible Happy Hour Specials
by ChrisHanks3 at Citysearch
Arnie's is a happy hour "no brainer" especially if you live or work on the north end as I do. The food specials are great, the view is great, the atmosphere is comfortable. I would encourage anyone to check it out.
Additionally, for lunch or dinner, the new executive chef Doug Jones is coming up with fresh, innovative, affordable seafood options on their specials sheet each week. In a climate of sky rocketing menu prices due to food costs Arnie's is doing an amazing job of continuing to serve great food at a price I can afford.
- Pros: Great Fresh Sheets at Great Prices
- Cons: Arnie's looks a little like your parent's fine seafood restaurant. Makeover time?
Mediocre food, but great views
by NorthSoundFoodie at Citysearch
They are on a hill so that the train track is directly below them, but when you are seated, you mostly see the sound. The view is what you are paying for.
The service is great.
Lunch and dinner aren't worth doing. The food is about average for the seafood. There is a good menu selection.
If you are going to take anyone here, I'd recommend Sunday brunch. They do a 3 course brunch that's nice. The cinnamon rolls are warm, but sometimes stale. The fruit spans the gamut from great to not ripe enough (and they don't pick out the bad grapes or strawberries).
Remember, you came for the views or you were in the area and wanted a 3 course breakfast.
- Pros: The view and the service
- Cons: food
