Best Chinese Food!!! A+++. We have lived in Redmond for over 5 years and yet we have never noticed this little magical place! My husband were on our way to return a movie and then wanted to stop by for pizza that evening. We then noticed that there is a quite attractive restaurant right next door. We don't know how we didn't notice it before. We decided to go in and give it a try. The decor was beautiful, not your usual old chinese place, and the wait staff was really friendly. (Although not all of them spoke fluent English, but that's ok, it adds to the character.) The food was to die for! I personally recomend the General Tso's chicken and the Mongolian Beef. The chicken had the perfect amount of spice and the best part...it was still juicy after being fried. Every thing was so fresh and tasty. And the best part...NO MSG. I am highly allergic, but NO headache this time! :) We had a very pleasant time out. Some might think that the price might be on the slightly medium to high end, but actually, if considering...the amount of food and the QUALITY of the food you get...it is a Very good deal! I've lived in many diffent states across America, and this is definatly ONE OF THE BEST Chinese Food I have had! Definatly we return!

Poor service. We not only didn't enjoy the food, the whole experience wasn't pleasurable. The food wasn't awful but not good either. The Chef Special Curry was bland. Really, how can curry be bland?? Beef & broccoli was okay but skimpy on the beef. We order brown rice and it was fine. There was only one other couple in the restaurant at the same time so while we were eating the wait staff and cooks were eating their dinner at the empty tables. What did that mean to us - terrible service! We didn't get asked for more rice, no tea refills. Plus they kept staring at us and the other couple. The owner paced back and forth by our table which put off a very unwelcoming feel. Finally we just asked for our leftovers to go, and by ask I mean walked to the counter and grabbed a container. Finally the waiter realized he had a table to pay attention to. He brings our bill then ten minutes later returns our credit card slip. We won't be returning.

Worth a Try.... Nice atmosphere... not bad food, not not great either... decent service... convenient location...

Loved it!. For $7.00 you can get a great lunch special. Plenty of food. Loved their hot and sour soup.

Quality and Flair. A good indicator of a Chinese Restaurant is whether they use MSG or not, and Jade Dragon does not. Everything on the menu is tasty and fresh, and prices are typical for Chinese food on the East side. The decor is fun and new, and best of all you won't go home with an MSG hangover!
