VERY good!. We LOVE this place! The service is great the food is delicious and we always have a good time there! We have started going almost weekly! My FAVORITE chicken fajitas come from here, I have had mexican food all over the country and no fajitas even compare! If you are looking for a friendly restaurant with great service, good drinks, and delicious food, this is the spot :0)
Best in town.
I used to eat here when I lived only a couple miles away, but now I make the trek from time to time because it is worth it. I know that there are a couple of these restaurants, but it don?t have that ?chain restaurant? feel. Authenticity should be its middle name because that is how the food tastes.
It still has the feel of a neighborhood place with personal service and short waiting times for your food. I haven?t sat in their bar because I have always been there with my child, but the drinks coming out of there have been stellar. While good Mexican food is easy to get right, they have a subtle difference that makes their food better than the rest.
The food portions are nice and big which is tough since I can?t stop eating the warm tortilla chips and salsa. I have never left there hungry, usually I am very full. You can easily divide it up and eat your dinner for lunch the next day, but I can?t stop picking at it. The food is that good.
Never have I had a bad experience and I recommend it for anyone who likes good food at good prices. They are very kid friendly too. Try it, you?ll like it.
Average Mexican Food. My boyfriend and I just went here today for lunch. The service was excellent, definitely can't complain about that. I had shrimp fajitas (this is what I order at every Mexican restaurant I go to) and my boyfriend had carne asada. We thought the food was alright, not horrible, but not great. Also, the chips were stale. We definitely wouldn't spend our money here again though.
Great Mexican Food. Ok so the building isn't all that impressive, the seats are a little uncomfortable, and the steeply sloped parking lot can be a challenge. However once you have the food every single one of these challenges will have been worth it. Fajitas are the star at La Palma, the Enchiladas are excellent too. Be warned this isn't health food, the food is good because they use liberal amounts of salt and lard. The staff is friendly and attentive, even when it's busy, as it frequently was during the World Cup. The good food and low prices have combined to make La Palma a regular lunch stop for me.
Forget the rest, try the best!. The amount of food and quality of food for the price is exellent. The drinks are large and the staff is very friendly. We are always seated immediately and waited on sithin just a few minutes.
Top 3 in Seattle. I can't decide the best Mexican restaurant in Seattle, but La Palma definitely makes the top 3. The food and atmosphere are exactly what we Americans have come to expect from our Mexican restaurants--how authentic it really is, I'm not sure. But in the tradition of the best classic Ameri-Mexican restaurants, you can wear the big sombrero on your birthday and have your picture taken.
Best Chimichangas in Town!. Although I have only been to LaPalma a few times, I have to say the service and food are fantastic. I love the chimichangas, they are by far superior. My only regret is that I didn't try them sooner, the bldg. is less than impressive, but isn't that where the best food is?
