Editorial Review for Tulip – by Joann Natalia Aquino

In Short
Similar to the lovely flower it's named after, the merchandise at this hip downtown boutique is fresh, vibrant and delightful. This well-edited shop showcases cutting-edge designs from Paris, London, New York and Los Angeles made for fashion-forward young professional women looking for versatile clothes that effortlessly shift from day to night. Avant-garde designers such as Lauren Moffatt, Puella, and Jovovich-Hawk bring ready-to-wear fashion, while jewelry by Dirty Librarian Chains and Bing Bang polishes the look.

Customer service is poor. the lady just stood behind the counter and just acknowledged my presence and that was about it. their buy was weak. the choices were few and not sure if i'd drive all the way to the other side of the bridge to see this store, although it was a cute boutique

so... you are right, i was wearing a deconstructed hoodie which could have been construed as being messy looking and inexpensive. but, regardlless, there was no reason the staff at tulip had to be so rude. i found the bag. the bag i have been looking for and was without hesitation willing to drop $700 on it. but because the girls there were just so mean and cold and unhelpful i found that bag online and purchased it there. i like my sloppy hoodie and i like wearing my sloopy hoodie with my $700 hand bag that i did not purchase at tulip. poo on you.

Pros: lovely accessories

Cons: horrid snotty staff
