Super fun place to hang out anytime of day. Great lunches. Patio seating has a view of Lake Union. Try the Mediterranean plate!
Do not go to this restaurant. This place defines trashy. The service is terrible. The food is mediocre and overpriced. The atmosphere reminds me of a bunch of people over 30 who still wish they lived in a frathouse. My recommendation: Do not go to this restaurant. Or any of the neighborhood grills. Consistently a terrible experience.
Great Decks, Fine Drinks, Food is ... meh.. The food's never bad, just never really good. Drinks are dandy (say hi to Bruce the bartender) but don't go for chi-chi cocktails.
Great view, cool hangout, awesome happy hour!. Go here fairly frequently with friends for happy hour and soak in the sun (even on these freezing cold days). I love the calamari and the bloody mary's - and could use one, right now!
Mixed Reviews.
I go here about twice a month for happy hour. Drinks are cheap and really stiff! The food during happy hour is all under $7, pretty good, and easy to fill up on. It's not especially delicious, on par with Red Robin.
Here comes the horror story. One day I came for happy hour, was seated upstairs in a small room right next to a table of 7 or 8 very drunk people. The waiter gave us absolutely terrible service. Cold Food. Meat on the entree and I AM VEGETARIAN! I asked that the pasta be remade without the meat, so he took it downstairs, picked the meat out, stirred it, and brought it back up. Meat was still easily tasted in the end product. At this point he decided to begin being annoying and asking us if we were doing okay every 2 minutes. At some point he decided he was giving us too much attention, so he started to ignore us completely.
We sat there in the tiny, loud room with a table full of drunks, while the waiter looked on. At one point this table of apes actually heckled us. For ten or twenty minutes our table was empty and dry, and I was forced to find the waiter to ask for the check.
The check was wrong, I was double charged for my flunked entree, and the waiter got a $0 tip!
great view.kind of expensive.
Great view
They charge you for it - expensive food for what you get. I guess it's a good happy hour, though...
The deck - not to be missed in spring / summer
Great Happy Hour. We come here all the time for their tasty, cheap happy hour, with well done bar food and stiff drinks.. However never ever ever go there for breakfast! It looses a star just for the memory of the offensively horrible omelets we had. Sit to the happy hour, lunch, and dinner, and you'll be happy.
Wonderful brunch!!. My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous brunch at the Eastlake Grill on Saturday. Every bite was very good, the selection quite extensive, and included Cafe Vita coffee in the $10.95 price. We could have chosen to make burritos with all the extras, but settled for just the fillings. Potatoes, pancakes, French toast, two different scrambled eggs, sausages/bacon, refried beans, muffins, cream puffs, cheesecake tarts, etc, etc, etc. Delicious!! We also got a window seat overlooking Lake Union on a sunny day - heavenly!!
Great outdoor patio.
Eat lunch here every few months with my co-workers. They changed the menu and got rid of my favorite Greek Wrap but the new menu has plenty to offer. I love the Tiger Prawn & Andouille Sausage Penne. My co-worker didn't care for the reuben, thought the corned beef was dry. Another really enjoyed the Santa Fe Grilled Cheese but was still hungry after. We like this place b/c plenty of seating, enough choices for everyone (even our vegetarian friends) and killer patio. We use our Passport Unlimited cards which is buy one, get one free up to two entrees. No waitress has made a fuss about seperate checks (which we don't do for more then six people).
Parking can be a pain but the walk does us good!
excellent late night happy hour. I usually go here between 10-12 pm, when it's too late for many other restaurants to be open but I want something classier and more relaxed than a burger joint or bar. We sit in the dining room and order the blackened salmon Caesar salad and fries, or buffalo wings and clam chowder. Delicious and not fishy-tasting, this is all I need to top off a night. You are requested to order a drink with your meal (it is happy hour) but if you don't drink alcohol, juice will do as well. Highly recommended.
