Gem of a spot with charming array of goods
by droitiere at Citysearch
Everyone who dresses well in Seattle probably knows this spot although if you are the typical Eastside matron/teen looking to be fawned over, you should stick to your regular haunts. One of the best things about this tiny place packed with beautiful and quirky designs is the service: one is never hustled, harrassed, told "how to wear things" without having asked. Nevertheless, the owner and/or sales staff know their sizes, goods and stock perfectly and are always ready to help. If you like truly beautiful clothes, fabulous shoes and always-trendy accessories this is your place.
love shoes and vanessa bruno!
by cgh at Citysearch
I love lola pop's selection of amazing clothes and shoes. I love how the shop's owner muriel is ahead of the trends and carries wonderful and hard to find designers such as vanessa bruno and barbara bui. Her frequnt trips to paris and italy reflect a european trend, not always present in seattle. The cute shoes are a welcome change from the normal and ugly birkenstocks and danskos that tend to be ever present- the shoes are wearable and comfy, but also pretty. It is also great to see an increase in clothing selections... so pretty feminine and incredibly made. I am impressed with the spring selection and am finding it hard to not go into serious debt. Bravo to Lola pop! merci, merci, merci!
- Pros: beautiful clothes and shoes
- Cons: too many beautiful clothes and shoes!
Awesome Shoe Store
by colescasa at Citysearch
Going to Lola Pop is like taking a trip to France to buy shoes. The owner is a very friendly French woman that knows exactly what woman want., beautiful shoes and boots that you won't find at other stores. The selecttion is always fresh and unique. The owner has a great sense of style herself and she always knows what the latest in fashion trends are. She also sells beautiful clothing that comes from France! The store itself is very cute and has a great selection of umbrellas, unlike any other store. It is located in Fremont , which has other nice stores and numerous good resturants, so it is definitely worth the trip! I like shoe shopping in this st ore because the owner is the kind of person that can strike up a conversation with anyone that walks in and s he remembers every item I have bought there!
- Pros: Fun, hip place to find unique shoes, clothes and accessories. Awesome customer service.
- Cons: It is hard not to buy something.
French flare in Seattle
by cecileinseattle at Citysearch
This little store nestled in Fremont is a true cave of wonders.
Lola Pop has a fantastic selection of European shoes and collections from some of the most creative, respected French designers. It is now possible for Seattleites to dress as Parisians do: with attention to detail, poise and attitude.
Muriel - the owner - will charm you with her accent and offer you the best advice to pick your outfits, which you will see on no one else in the city.
In short, Lola Pop is a slice of France in our backyard.
Do NOT miss it!
- Pros: Amazing collections, customized advice, great ambiance
- Cons: Not a cons so much as a note: you will not find a $10 sales bin there. This is a good thing. Quality and creativity are priceless.
The service overwrites the quality...

Little but great variety of shoes that are hard to come by in Seattle (all from France and Italy...great shoemakers!!), and, though a little on the expensive sign, you can appreciate if you are a shoe enthusiast like me. The staff did not seem so helpful, though. If you are looking for a friendly salesperson in there...you won't find any. I'm not one for pressurized sales...so beware.
- Pros: Variety, Layout, Quality
- Cons: Unfriendly, Expensive, No parking
