Good downtown seattle lunch joint. Stopped into Mel's the other day while downtown. Freshly made sandwiches and salads. You can make your own salads too. Their service is fast too. So when downtown, stop by for a fast and good bite to eat.
Thanks for the review, and particularly the positive feedback:) We appreciate it!
I love the salads at Mel's. I love the salad bar at Mel's Market. I choose my fresh greens and then customize my salad from an array of fresh toppings. My salad is then hand tossed with the dressing of my choice. Delicious! The sandwiches are also made to order with fresh ingredients. The staff is always smiling and friendly. Mel's Market is a great choice for downtown lunch
My Favorite Lunch Spot. Mel's has been my go-to lunch spot for years. I'm a picky eater, so it's perfect for me. I build my own sandwiches and salads exactly how I like them. The veggie sandwich is the best around! My coworkers rave about the french fries, but I have yet to try them. The staff is really friendly too.
TOP notch quality and service!!!. The weekday walk to Mel's is worth it! The selection is great, the prices are reasonable, the space is clean and the staff is always extremely pleasant and friendly. From creating your own salad to a fresh baked cookie, you will NOT be disappointed!
My Downtown Lunch Spot. I have been going to lunch at Mel's Market for years. I love their sandwiches and salads. The food is delicious (fresh and flavorful), the staff is super friendly and everything is really affordable. Although I haven't made it in to Mel's Market for breakfast, I hear the breakfasts are equally as good as their lunches. See you next week Mel's!
Thanks for the kind words! If you can, stop in today and get your Bounceback Coupon good $1 off Tues-Friday:)
Best Breakfast & Lunch on the go!. I love Mel's Market! I think they have awesome breakfast items, especially the chicken fried steak special on Friday. I ask for it with special potatoes and gravy over the whole thing! Another favorite is their soups, house made and prepared by former Chef/Owner of The Brooklyn - Tony Cunio. He really has these soups down! I also love the burgers, but they are huge (great value)! Get some tarter for the fries. Speaking of tarter, don't miss the Fish N Chips only served on Friday. They sometimes run out, so get there by 1pm. When my kids are out of school, they love Mel's too. My daughter can never decide between Lasagna & Baked Potatoes. The other one is a huge sandwich lover, and that is a specialty at Mel's. The sandwich / salad station has everything you could possibly want! The food is great, the staff is super friendly and good value all around.
