I have had nothing but the best experiences at artcore tattoo studio and I have been getting tattoo's there for over 5 years. After being introduced to them at the first seattle tattoo convention, I was amazed at the work that I saw and how nice they treated me in such a busy environment, that the next day I went to the shop and made an appointment for a tattoo. Nothing less than amazing !!!!! When I venture down to georgetown and Artcore in particular, I am always greeted by a clean shop, new art in the gallery, and people who I can talk to about whatever ( if they are not tattooing and that is rare ) I do not know how the previous reviewer could have anything negative to say. Yes they are generally booked out a couple weeks, months even, but have always made time for a consult or a phone call letting me know when they are available. Regardless, I have nothing negative to say at all about the shop, especially the artists. If you really doubt the quality of work coming out of artcore, look at the website artcoreseattle dot com or just go down and look at the portfolio's. I have, and will continue to get my work done there.

Cons: Parking and traffic later in the evening

the name "artcore" implies that ART is at the core. These guys have NO work ethic, they will have an empty shop for days, and make an appointment for two weeks out. Their work is terrible, even at its best. The tattoo I received was too deep, and had to be reworked by another artist. Months later, It still looked like a giant, deep bruise all along my arm. I'd be surpised if anyone actually finished their apprenticeships. I KNOW their piercer has NOT completed his apprenticeship. They are all too busy browsing the internet to provide the service and support someone needs when shopping for tattoos. I would NEVER go to ArtCore again.
Pros: shop looks nice
Cons: service, support, consultation, availability, reliability, accessability
