What People Are Saying About FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

In Short – The ubiquitous copy center has grown over the years into a diverse hub of business resources. Customers can copy and print documents, as well as create business cards, posters, brochures and photos from digital files. FedEx Kinkos also sells packing and shipping supplies and offers a wide array of FedEx shipping services. Many stores even have wireless Internet service and videoconferencing, and all locations have computer stations and CD reproduction services.
Astonishingly poor service
by learntoreed at Citysearch
I was shocked by the incredibly poor service and astonishing unhelpfulness of the employees at this particular location on the day I went. I brought in a CD with a few image files to be printed and the staff was completely unhelpful. What should have been a half hour project turned into a 2 and a half hour ordeal.
When I asked for a certain color of paper or card stock I was met with a cold, annoyed look, and a certain employee even asked me to come behind the desk and do it myself because she did not want to have to deal with my requests.
I finally decided to eat the extra costs and print the files myself on the design workstation computers - only to find that the printer there would not work. I asked three employees for help - and none of them could solve my problem for me. None of them even offered to make the print on another printer, the only response I got was, '...sorry.'
I ended up having to find another Kinkos a mile away in Belltown where the service was far more understanding and capable at getting the customer what they want.
I don't understand the criteria for hiring Kinko's employees, but it seems to me that I should be able to walk in with a couple of prints to be made - and be met with helpful, friendly service - ready to meet my needs as a customer.
I will go to this particular only if it is an absolute last resort - and I would recommend anyone else to do the same.
