I can't believe all of the bad reviews on here! I just got married 2 weeks ago and I ordered everything possible from this store, including 2 wedding gowns and dresses for all 10 of my bridesmaids. I worked with the sales consultants many times and every time they made it an easy, fun experience for me. Everything came on time and looking fantastic. The dresses there are all absolutely gorgeous, and when I found that perfect one my sales consultant helped me through the process and made this stressful time very easy. All of my bridesmaids and my mom loved coming to this place. Don't listen to all of the bad reviews. If you're looking for a place that will make this experience as terrific as it was for me, then go to Brides by Demetrios.

The staff at Brides by Demetrious , in Bellevue, were eager to sell me my wedding gown and promptly forgot all about customer service after the sale. On the first scheduled fitting I learned that the wrong size dress had been ordered, management offered to cover all of my alterations due to their mistake. Kim, the sales associate helping me assured me that the dress would be rushed to Bellevue in a week or so and that I would have plenty of time for alterations. Two weeks later the dress arrived, but the woman who did alterations would be on vacation for another week. My wedding was less than one month away at this point, I was getting nervous. My first fitting (two weeks before the wedding), was a five minute rush. At the second fitting the woman decided to sew in bra cups and take in the hips more. I was told to return one day before my wedding to pick up the dress. When I arrived to pick up the gown there was no one to help me get into the dress or to check if the final alterations were satisfactory. They were too busy trying to sell more dresses. At this point (one day before the wedding) my only option was to take the dress home. You could see the sewn in breast cups through the material, and the material from the hips was left in the dress, creating a horrible looking seam. I feel cheated every time I look at my wedding photos. Do not buy a dress from this place!!!!! If you do, take the dress some place else for alterations.
Pros: a wide variety of affordable dresses
Cons: poor customer service, not enough staff, drab fitting rooms, no follow through
