Best Mechanic In Town. I am a very capable mechanic myself, but when my cars break down, I take them to Taskar Garage. Misha gets me in and out quicker than I could go buy the parts myself and his rates are very reasonable. My freind had an old Audi that needed a water pump. He took it to the dealer and they wanted $1,500.00 to replace it. I had him go see Misha, and his car was fixed and out the door for just under $600.00 the same day. Great service at great prices.…

I've been driving 40 minutes to get my oil changed among other things like: brakes, clutch, electrical, etc. for about 3 years now. Misha Taskar (the owner) is FAIR, HONEST, FAST and THOROUGH. His wife who works in the Burien School District does the books after hours and his son Felix (whom I assisted getting a job at Microsoft) still shows his support by working there on the weekends. This is a TRUE FAMILY RUN BUSINESS WITH HEART AND COMMUNITY KARMA.
PLEASE send your references to them. Tell them the blonde girl with the red 4-Runner sent you (and they'll treat you like Eastern European family- like me!).
BTW- My dad who is a retired Seattle Police Detective originally referred me. A LOT of SPD get their cars' serviced here. They know what they're doing. Trust me, trust them.…
fast, friendly, great service. I'm sold! Misha is super friendly and fixed our car incredibly fast -- and for less than others had quoted. While he had it he also fixed up a couple of small things that needed attention and charged us almost nothing for it. One of these things he fixed using a simple solution, when we'd been told elsewhere it would cost $350 because an expensive part *had to* be replaced, which it didn't. I totally trust this guy and I will *definitely* be going back!…
