Yikes! A Rat!.
We have lived this area our entire lives and I have never written a negative review (or any review, for that matter) but the experience we had with Eastside necessitates I do so. Eastside’s proposal
for the work to be done at our house was intentionally disconnected (a stack of papers) and confusing, employing a mix of separate proposals from separate companies and for separate activities it would be reasonable to believe are included in what is made to look like a summary base bid. But, it turns out, there was no summary proposal statement and their intent appears to be to trick the customer into an up-sell for over-priced service with unsupportable basis.
We discovered this after the work was begun but decided to go forward anyway as they were already done with the first phase of the work (big mistake) only to find, after we again thought the work was complete, that “maintenance work” that we had not requested (basically putting traps out and checking them every 3 months or so for a ridiculous fee) was also a hidden up-sell when an unexpected invoice showed up. We told them we would pay for what had been done (come and get your traps!) but they insisted they be paid for work for the next year (or something like that).
The amount they want to bill us nominal (especially when compared to the overall price we paid) but we will not roll-over this time. It is about our responsibility to stand up against unscrupulous businesses and business practices.

Extremely disappointed!! !. Extremely disappointed!! ! I recently (Oct. 2011) hired Wendy Jacobson from Eastside Exterminators to repair/clean up the damages caused by a raccoon in the crawlspace area. The job never completed as promised and she have not returned my phone calls and emails since they have made an unauthorized transaction of the full amount of the repair cost instead of 25% prior completing the job. When I contact their office expressing my concerns, they only direct me to Wendy…

About a year ago I moved into a new basement apartment only to find that I wasn’t living alone. Every day I was surprised by HUGE spiders crawling out from my closet, behind the toilet, and under my
bed. It got to the point where I was afraid to be in my house. With the recommendation of my mother, I saved some of the bodies and went to Eastside Exterminators to discuss my problems.
Immediately, Walt was able to identify all the spiders I had brought (all three being ones that bite…including a hobo spider). I am a tad embarrassed to say but I was so overwhelmed that I began to tear up. Walt was very sensitive to my fears and explained what we could do to solve the problem. Within the next few days, he came out and sprayed the inside and outside of my house. He was very professional and didn’t make me feel like I was overreacting to the situation.
Walt comes every two months to spay and I have seen only about two stray spiders since the first day he came (thankfully these weren’t the “meat eaters” as I call them). They are always accommodating to my schedule and I can’t say how happy I am with their services. I would recommend them to anyone!…
