Editorial Review for Pagliacci Pizza - Broadway Pizzeria – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
Its reputation is based on a New York-style crust topped with nothing more than tomato sauce and mozzarella. Seasonal pies make use of fresh local toppings like pears, portobellos and asparagus. Comfortable, loud and sometims hectic, the slab concrete floors, exposed ductwork and high ceilings add up to a boisterous, young-at-heart experience. Slices and salads are available, or order a whole pie to share.

"Gourmet" pizza can be fantastic: exotic ingredients layered in inspired combinations, just the right olive oil, a nice biting marinara or bolognese sauce (or a garlic cream sauce with clams), etc. Unfortunately, for all its lauds as a premier pizza vendor in Seattle, every pie I've had from Pagliacci's has had remarkably little flavor. Maybe it's because they seem to have a law that toppings should never touch one another, or that pizza sauce should resemble tomato soup base, or that a thin crust pizza should be alternately hard as a Rye-Krisp or have the tensile strength of a paper towel (on the same pizza, mind you). If you're on Broadway, go two blocks north and have something really good at Bella Pizza (next to FedEx-Kinko's behind the fountain); on Queen Anne or the University district, try Mad Pizza. Anywhere else in the city, you can probably find good pizza within half a mile of Pagliacci's -- and you'll probably be happier.
Pros: they're everywhere
Cons: a regret in every bite

I would highly recommend this company. I order delivery regularly and they are always on time. I have never had to wait more than 45 minutes. The pizza tastes fabulous, and it's always consistent in taste and quality. Customer service on the phone is positive and helpful. Pagliacci is a bit pricy, but well worth it. I even got a free pizza for being a "frequent flyer."
Pros: Speedy delivery. Great Customer Service. Timely. Great Quality.
Cons: Pricy.
