A nice place to try. The thing that most impressed me about Shell Creek was the very attentive service. Our waitress was the best without being too much or too conversational. We enjoyed our meal - the menu has a nice selection of American dishes, some cooked in their wood fired ovens. The parking is fine on weekend evenings after other businesses close. I don't go out for dinner all that often so I'm usually in sticker shock at the prices but I believe most diners would say this is a moderately priced restaurant.
Best Northend Restaurant!. I hadn't visited Shell Creek since the new ownership and boy has it changed!!! The food is outstanding and the service is very friendly and attentive. If you haven't been there lately, you are missing out! Highly Recommended!
2nd chances pay-off. We went to this restaurant the 1st time for a birthday dinner, hoping for a quiet atmosphere, even called ahead to ask about atmosphere. Unfortunately the night we went, a Tuesday, they had allowed someone to take over 1/2 the restaurant for a seminar. We were more than annoyed and extremely disappointed when 15 mins into our arrival someone began a very loud and distracting sales pitch. We were assured by the server he would be done in 15 mins and decided to stay. The food was excellent and although the evening was not what we hoped for we all decided we would give them a 2nd chance. We went back 3 weeks later on a Friday night agian taking my mother and we were very happy with the service, food and most of all the atmosphere was truly enjoyable. We have since gone back again and plan to continue frequenting this restuarant it is a nice change in Edmonds from Anthony's, Arnies etc. I hope that they have rethought allowing people to take over restaurant for wrangling seniors into investment programs and will continue to provide an warm, comfortable atmoshpere to enjoy an evening out with friends and family.
Still haven't decide - please persuade me.
Living on the Kitsap Peninsula, my choice of non-chain, palatable restaurants is less than abundant. I am often in search of a unique, creative dining option where I can enjoy a decent glass/bottle of wine and a tasty, innovative dinner.
I am not a wealthy person; I teach high school. When I want to treat myself to a pricey (for me) dinner, I would like to know that the restaurant will be open as per the posted hours, I would like to receive a drink order within twenty minutes, and I would like to be allowed to converse nicely without shouting over chatty servers. I truly enjoyed the food and wine at Shell Creek. I gave it every chance I could and I am still neutral about my opinion. I am hesitant to try again, but perhaps with proper persuasion, I will be won over by this flavorful restaurant.
A great local restaurant.
Went here to celebrate an anniversary and was pleasantly surprised. Service was prompt (we had no reservation) and we were seated quickly. Drinks first, and they make some good martinis there. The food was good-- a somewhat southwest flavor to northwest cuisine. Different, but very good. I would go here again.
Try the s'mores for dessert: a great item to share!
Great Night Out. A unique wine list, appealing atmosphere, and great food. This is where I take the people I want to impress!
