We have ordered from them forever, and--with delivery--they have always gotten our order right and the pizza is great. Unfortunately, the Lynnwood location ruins their good name. I was meeting up with my mother and recommended this place to them because of my experience with the Everett location. This location not only screwed up our order once, but twice, and after having to wait about 30 minutes for the first pizza (when the place was empty), and then waiting again for the second pizza, and pointing out to the waiter that the second pizza was also screwed up (not to mention, actually missing one of the main ingredients--without which, the pizza was barely worth eating), he only offered us $5 off our order, and then had the gall to keep coming back asking us how our experience was so far. The whole pizza should have been comped, at the very least (I really think the whole order should have been comped). I even had someone at the Everett location admit that this location has a lot of complaints. It is an absolute embarrassment to the chain. If I were the owner of Amante's, I would fire the manager of this location immediately.
Slow service and priced kind of high for the quality. This was my first time to Amante and I went with a group of seven girlfriends. Each of us ordered an entree and a beverage. I ordered Cannelloni, which I thought was a little small on the portion size and tasted bland. It seemed to take forever, probably like 10 minutes, to get our small side salads which were drenched in dressing. Now, I like a lot of dressing, but this was too much even for me. Then the dinners were on the table before any of us had finished the salad. Then we waited 20 minutes after we had finished for the bill. (Now a personal pet peve of mine is that they would not split the bill into individual bills.) After the group had paid the bill I ordered two slices of cake to take home. Again it took 10 minutes to get them delivered to the table and at 4.25 a slice I expected bigger pieces. On the whole I thought the food was overpriced and the service very slow.
Editorial Review. Italian mini-chain serves pizza, pasta, oven-toasted subs, salads, and low-carb options for dine-in or delivery.
