Very sterile, big business place.
I went here for the first time today to use a gift certificate. It was super easy to get an appointment at the time that I wanted. I had a pedicure with a very nice lady named Monica.
The place is super clean. Clippers, and other instruments are packaged in those sterile packages like they use for the tools at the dentist.
Monica did a good job and I was pleased with the results.
The major downside for me is that the chairs were ridiculously uncomfortable. For a pedicure, they have you sit in what's basically an office chair and have you prop your feet up on this rolling foot bath. The problem is that your foot needs to be at a certain angle for the nail tech to work on it. The angle of the chair + the angle that your foot needs to be at - it was awful. I felt like I was holding my foot up in the air the whole time - I couldn't relax because I'd either slide out of my chair or push the chair backwards. I adjusted once and was almost immediately uncomfortable again.
It's a clean, sterile place. They have a no tipping policy, which I find to be fair. It's easy to get an appointment. But I wouldn't pay out of pocket to get a pedicure here. Go to a local, non big business nail salon and you'll get a nice comfy massage chair for the same price.
Great Spa!. I see Kim for facials and she is just wonderful. She is pleasant and very thorough with my skin. I love to get facials and have had many in the Seattle area but she has given me the best by far. I'm not sure what she did differently from the other estheticians but she made my skin look much more even and healthy. The people at the front desk are very nice and I have never had to wait for any of my appointments.
