Just a Joy. I must admit I'd never thought I would say it was a joy to go to the dentist. HOWEVER, it truly was a joy. Attentive to my needs. Did not belittle my slight fear of drill noises. As a divorced mom, budgeting finances is very important to me. Christine just goes the extra mile to make sure all my questions were answered and that I would have no surprises. Oh, the movies are just so fun.

Wonderful dental office. Thank you to Dr. Dowd and the wonderful people at Signature Smiles for saving my tooth. I had an increasingly bad toothache that had been bothering me for a week. I just moved to the Pacific NW so I didn't have a dentist, thank heavens my co-worker referred my to them. Christine, the receptionist, understood I was in discomfort and was able to get me in later that day. Once I arrived at the office, my waiting time was literally 2 minutes. Christine had already informed the nurse (before my arrival) so they knew exactly which part of my mouth to get an x-ray. Then Dr. Dowd came in and was exceptionally attentive to me and my pain. I was afraid I needed a root canal. However, she informed me that before we decided to do a costly and irreversible procedure like a root canal, that in my case, I could be causing pain by clenching my teeth. She checked my bite and discovered that this was the case. She did a quick adjustment to the bite and made me a mouth guard to wear at night. I've been wearing the mouth guard now for two weeks and my pain is COMPLETELY gone. I am so thankful that she took the time so that I didn't get a root canal.

thanks for listening. NOt sure if my first post got on, okay, another try. Great at listening to my concerns. Dr. Dowd went above and beyond to ease my worries with shots. My shots are painless now, unlike when I was a kid.

Don't trust their recommendation - they want your insurance $$. As a new patient, they told me I needed to fix my bite, needed a deep cleaning and needed a mouth guard. I was fine with all of that. Problem is I also needed to get 4 cavities filled and a second cleaning before the end of the year. They didn't tell me that little detail until after I paid for mouth guard, 1st cleaning, bite fix. This dentist was not upfront with all the costs or prioritizing urgent items first and optional second. Since I wasn't told about the cavities until after I had the optional work done (which could have easily waited until the following year), I couldn't make the right decision about getting cavities fixed first. My insurance ran out and now I'll go to yet another dentist and pay out of pocket to get my cavities fixed. Quality seemed ok, but I don't trust them to have my best interest at heart so who cares about quality.
