Great Place to Practice!. Wonderful place to practice. I am 46 years old and have only been practicing yoga at this studio since August. I can say that it is truly life changing! I consider myself active and healthy however I have never pushed my stretching and endurance to the limit as much as I have in this studio. The instructors are very knowlegable. Each one has their own style of teaching. There are no drill seargents. If you need correcting, they do it. Some are more direct (strict) than others, but I don't mind. It's all done in a manner that makes me want to be better at it. If you want to be good at something you have to take constructive criticism. Heck, I am paying for it, I want results especially if I am dragging my weary bum outa bed at 6:00am. Some days I practice like a rock star, other days I can barely lift my arms and feel like throwing up, I go at my own pace and repect that every instructor allows me to. If you want to change your life mentally, and physically I challenge you to try this studio, you will not be disappointed.

My first hot yoga experience. Bought one month of hot yoga from Living Social a few months ago and (as usual) procrastinated until a week before the expiration date. Always wanted to try real yoga (not a Wii kind I tried earlier) and so happy I came across this little place downtown Woodinville! The place is simple but very clean. The bathroom is spotless. There are no showers (at least I haven't seen any), no lockers but I don't really care. The practice room is clean and not smelly at all (the studio has a fragrance-free policy). I had 3 different instructors teaching and liked them all. There is clear consistency in instruction among all of them (which was very important for me as a beginner). All three provided very useful comments to me personally (I didn't mind to be corrected publicly at all), as well as to others (which, again, was useful to me as well). Being a novice I didn't feel out of place at all. I liked the structure, discipline and consistency of instruction because this helped me not to worry on what's coming next but rather concentrate on my body and breathing. After only 4 practices I've noticed significant improvement. Love it and will keep coming back! Thank you for the great introduction to the world of yoga!

Excellent Hot Yoga Studio. This yoga studio is simple, clean, and welcoming. The teachers all great you with a smile (including the owner Sandra who is curiously criticized below), and offer kind patience with me as I learn the basics. It is obvious to me, having zero yoga history, that hot yoga is of a totally different category in the ancient world of yoga. The teachers are obviously highly trained and meet some certification criteria before they are permitted to teach students. They make constant corrections and share personal moments of their own yoga practice that I find inspiring. They may seem stern at times, but clearly that is for the protection of their students. They all laugh we me after class as I continue to practice and find aches and pains that change daily in my old body! Hot yoga is the hardest but most rewarding mental and physical health activity I have ever done. Some days my greatest challenge is making myself go to class, and I think "I'll take it easy today"...but once I'm there I'm motivated to work hard by the excellent teachers. I

Worst Yoga Studio. This place is way to hot no ventilation and the teachers are like generals. Yoga is supposed to be enjoyable. I have been doing Hot Yoga for a year now and Hot Yoga of Woodinville is not enjoyable, Not a place for new beginners that's for sure no room for modifications of the poses.

I will not recommend any of my friends that is for sure!

Great Instruction, Great Owner!. Like the previous review, I have suffered from pain and Sandy and her instructors have done a fantastic job of helping me in a positive yet serious manner. Sandy is so dedicated to her students and truly cares about their success. I love this place and would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much!!!

The best workout you'll ever have.. I've been going to this studio for over 4 years and I am convinced that the owner and her staff, and the yoga, saved me from having to have back surgery and/or medication for chronic pain. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. The studio is well-maintained. No showers, but the parking is very convenient. It is also reasonably priced and a wonderfully supportive yoga community.

Owners Attitude. The studio is very nice inside. However, I think that the carpet could and should be cleaned more often. Most of the instructors are excellent. I don't however enjoy the owner's classes. I always get criticized when I am taking her classes. She spends more time critiquing than she does instructing the whole class. It is unfortunate because I like the other instructors, but I will no longer be attending Hot Yoga of Woodinville as a result. Some people may like her tactics, but as a teacher you need to have a balance between positive comments and necessary constructive criticism. Rather than feeling motivated, I leave her classes feeling frustrated.

Bad Prana. Drill-instructor style, critical comments marked the very long 90 minutes. Bad energy. Won't send anyone I like to this studio.

lovely place. I come here regularly, and I really do like all the teachers, they pay attention on every single one of us, and explaining the benefits of the poses in details, so it motivates you through the class. Very happy with them!

Unfriendly owner/teacher. I`ve been going there for several months now, and I like all of the teachers, they are very friendly and very detail oriented. The class can be over crowded though. But the only thing I really don`t like there, is one of the teachers, Sandra, I guess she is also the owner. She is hardly ever friendly and you feel like she is critisizing you. So I agree with one of the previous comments, all the other teachers are really good, but I don`t like her either. Sorry.
