Xlent food with an interesting Hawaiian Twist. Great bbq, clean restaurant, fast service, juicy and tender meat, very welcoming atmosphere, reasonably priced.... what else can I say???? This is my new favorite place. Don't pretend that you're eating healthy food though. This is the real deal (or as close as you can get on the mainland). The macaroni salad is unexpectedly excellent and well worth the treadmill time. The white rice was pretty bland.

sorta kinda... ..not my favorite. The spam musubi here is never that great. Too sweet, with too much teri sauce on it. I've given it a chance, time and time again, and I've decided to stop doing that and just make them at home if I'm hungry. The saimin doesn't have much flavor (broth is not salty enough), but the fried spam & egg sandwich is nice and greasy, if you're in the mood for that. Just don't say I said it was healthy...but oh well..it's plate lunch!

Great Hawaiian BBQ.. Tasty Loco Moco, good Spam Musubi, great plate lunches! Good quick place to get some delicious Hawaiian bbq. Stop by for a good plate lunch!

where you go for a plate lunch.... ...my cousins bring me to this place--among many--when I visit them in HI. So when I'm back home, I like to go here once in awhile when I crave plate lunches. Once in awhile, they make malasadas too.
