In Short – This large room in a handsome brick building is filled floor-to-ceiling with original and manufactured clothing from 25 independent artists and designers. Items range from girly to edgy; particularly interesting are the recycled fashion pieces, including skirts made from ties and a dress made from T-shirts. The shop's owner, Tina Bueche, is on hand and happy to guide women toward a flattering fit, but browsing is fun too.

I was in desperate need of a cute outfit for a weekend BBQ, and there is a definite lack in Seattle of fashionable, non-REI loving wear. Enter synapse 206 beautiful, funky, fashionista items at very resonable prices. And I got me a new boyfriend that weekend too.
