What People Are Saying About Starbucks Coffee

In Short – For many, getting their daily jolt of java has become a daily morning ritual, and the cardboard cup with its infamous green label is the close companion of every coffee aficionado. Busy baristas work seamlessly behind the bar, juggling orders for their strongly-brewed drips and signature hot and cool beverages. While providing a wide selection of coffee specialties, pastries and various coffee related goods, patrons are invited to settle down in comfy armchairs and enjoy their favorite brews amid the chatter of the laidback yet caffeinated crowd.
Editor's Tips
- The Extras:
- Purchase a Starbucks customer card and use it to receive fun rewards, like a free tall beverage when you buy a pound of coffee beans.
- Fun Fact:
- The Starbucks logo, a two-tailed mermaid, was based on a 16th century Norse woodcut, and supposed to be as seductive as coffee itself.
Great coffee, average location

I visit this Starbucks on an almost daily basis and though I order my drink "extra hot" is is always only served "extra hot" about half the time, not really a big deal for me. The attitude at Starbucks more than makes up for this and at peak times (as with most Starbucks) there can be a pretty long line at the drive-thru. Navigating out into traffic can be a tad annoying, the plaza is small and it seems they are trying to cram way to much into such a little parking area. The few times that I have wanted to venture inside to peek into the pastry case instead of being given the rundown by the drive-thru attendant I have found that there are no parking spaces. The place is always clean, the staff is always friendly and the coffee is great for the most part...the location leaves a bit to be desired.
- Pros: Clean, friendly, convenient
- Cons: small parking lot, one way exit, very busy at peak hours
Drive-Thru Dud

Everything is excellent at Starbucks, and this particular location is no exception. However, maneuvering a vehicle around a nearly inaccessible drive-thru in order to get a latte is not a pleasant experience. What's the point of a drive-thru espresso if medians and menacing left turns take the fun (and speed) out of convenient coffee? Surely this part of city planning is not Starbucks' fault, but they could have picked a better corner in Kent to set up shop.
- Pros: World-class coffee, fabulous staff, pastries & goodies
- Cons: , spendy
