There is good pizza in Monroe. Monroe was a vacant wasteland of fast food chains until now. Yes, Garlic Jim's has arrived, but nothing beats Sahara's selection of gourmet pizzas. They have great deals too like buy one get one 1/2 price. They are the only pizza place in town with calamata olives; the Pumba is the best pizza I have ever eaten (I ordered it with the grilled chicken on it). Delivery is fast - 40 minutes (OK not 30 but I didn't order cheese on cardboard) and they take credit cards over the phone so you don't need to have cash on you. Forget the rest - call Sahara next time.
